A: The Fireplace Jar Candle smells like firewood burning in a fireplace. A camp fire usually has a potent smokey smell because, unlike a fireplace, the smoke lingers. So, we would say that the Fireplace Jar Candle probably doesn't have enough smokey "notes" (that's aroma-speak) to be a true campfire scent. Although, it's darned close.

Q: can you burn candles in a fireplace with the damper closed?
A: While you definitely shouldn't build a fire with the damper closed, It's unlikely that you'd have any problems burning a few candles while it's closed.

A: I think two to three Fireplace Jar Candles would be sufficient for that size room. After about ten to fifteen minutes, one Fireplace Jar Candle filled a 10'x10' room.

Q: I'm very allergic to pine in any form. Can you please check to see if there is some pine scent in there somewhere?I don't want to end up in the hospital
A: Unfortunately, the manufacturer of the Fireplace Jar Candle considers the fragrance a secret and will not disclose the scents used to make the fireplace fragrance. If you are allergic to pine, you shouldn't buy the candle since we are unsure if it contains pine.

Q: Instead of actually burning the candle, can I put it on a warmer to melt the wax in the jar? How long would it last?
A: Yes, you can put the candle on a warmer. If you are using the warmer exclusively, you should remove the wick. After it is heated, the glue that holds the wick down will release, allowing you to pull it it out. The candle can be heated several times, but it will become less & less fragrant with each use, depending on how long the candle is on the warmer. As long as the wax is liquid, fragrance will be released.

Q: Any plans to offer a larger size of this candle?
A: At this time, we don't have any plans to carry a larger Fireplace Scented Jar Candle.

A: Unfortunately, we do not offer samples of our Fireplace Scented Jar Candle. We believe the scent is terrific; it's not too overpowering, but definitely smells exactly like a fireplace.
