When we saw this story, our first thought was that there is no way that a snake could be a cuddly pet that you would hug and love and RIDE ON. The video below proves otherwise. Apparently, the young boy and the python have grown up together and they're best friends. The fact that the snake lets the boy play with him so roughly is completely mind-blowing.

see, it's sad how everyone jumps to conclusions so quickly. It's so stereotypical of everyone to just automatically assume that the boy will be eaten, that the snake's just a ruthless, vicious predator. Why can't there be an exception or two in a species? it's just like racism - unfair.
Besides, they've been around each other for so long; why didn't the snake eat him long before now if he had a mind to?
Yup, this is a mishap waiting to happen. If that boy doesn't grow up quickly he could make this python's next meal easily.
At 00:57 that stomach movement is another neighborhood boy being eaten.
Someone should tell that boy that he's the perfect-sized meal for his pet python. Did you see how big that thing is??
