Small, portable size, but easy to read

The Eye of Time clock is small, yet easy to read. The Eye of Time clock features a built-in magnifying glass, so despite its small size, you will still be able to read the time from a few feet away.

While this is designed as a travel clock, I've had it sitting on my desk for a few days now (nestled underneath my monitor) and I've started to rely on it quite heavily.

Remove the front face magnifying glass to read schtuff

Eye of Time clock has a removable front face magnifying glass The front (and rear) face of the Eye of Time clock unscrew. They are both magnifying glasses which you can use to make anything look bigger (looks like Mr. Obvious hacked into the website again).

Great for reading maps, secret messages from enemy spies, and making your bank account look larger.

Rests comfortably on any flat surface for easy reading

The Eye of Time Clock rests comfortably on any flat surface. The manufacturer's smartly built a flat edge on the rear face of the Eye of Time clock so that it rests comfortably on any flat surface.

It's at about a 45 degree angle so you can use your Eye of Time clock as a desk clock in addition to being a great travel and pocket watch.

The Eye of Time clock includes an attractive gift box

The Eye of Time Clock rests comfortably on any flat surface.Hmm, not too much to say about a gift box.

Oh, yes, we almost forgot to mention that the Eye of Time clock comes with a watch battery already installed.

Simply pull up on the ring at the top of the clock and then twist the nob to set the time. Push down on the nob to restart the clock.

Your questions that have been answered by the Vat19.com staff

Q: Why no actual compass?? Slightly disappointing!
A: Since we didn't manufacture the Eye of Time Clock, we can't be certain. We do agree that a compass would be a cool addition to the clock's features, though.

Q: How to replace the battery?
A: The manufacturer advises taking the Eye of Time Clock to a jeweler or clock maker to have the battery changed.
Was this question useful to you? Yes | No

Q: is it good for kids under 3 years old?
A: No. The Eye of Time Clock is made of glass and has detachable magnifying glass pieces.

Q: How do you set up the clock?
A: Simply pull the top of the Eye of Time Clock and then spin it to set the time. When the desired time is set, push the top down to start it running again.
Was this question useful to you? Yes | No

Q: Is there an alarm on this travel clock?
A: No. The Eye of Time Clock does not have an alarm.
Was this question useful to you? Yes | No

Q: Is there not a stand that the clock could be either sat on or hung on to be more of a display?
A: The Eye of Time Clock does not include a stand.
Was this question useful to you? Yes | No

Q: Is there a base on which this clock can be placed ?

Was this question useful to you? Yes | No

Q: if i already own the eye of time and would like to repair it myself, and wanted some sort of guide to taking it apart and putting it back together, could you tell me where to find one?
A: The manufacturer does not have a trouble-shooting or repair guide available. If your Eye of Time Clock has a manufacturer's defect, please contact us at 1-800-476-1991 so we can look up your order. The manufacturer offers a 60-day return policy for defects, but opening or taking the clock apart would void this.

Q: Can this clock be used like a pocket watch? more specifically, can the bulky base be removed?
A: Both the front and the back pieces can be removed. The removable pieces function as magnifying glasses (see photo above). While the Eye of Time Clock was not intended to be used as a pocket watch, you could attach a chain and carry it in your pocket. However, we do not recommend carrying it in your pocket with the front piece removed as this will expose the hands of the clock to damage.
Was this question useful to you? Yes | No

Q: How much does it weigh?
A: The clock itself weighs about 6 ounces.
Was this question useful to you? Yes | No

Q: If i was to mount this to a car batery would i be able to use it to go back in time?
A: Only if you put the car in reverse and drive really, really fast.
