Motion-activated candy dispenser = no bird flu!

Old-fashioned candy dispensers are great... except that every piece of candy you eat has basically taken a bath in the fingers of every other person who has used the dispenser. Gross.

With the Candy Wizard Motion-Activated Candy Dispenser, you can enjoy delicious candy without fear of catching some mutant strain of influenza.

Simply rest your hand underneath the dispenser and out shoots your candy. Perfect!

Motion-activated touchless candy dispenser prevents the spread of germs.
Motion-activated, no-touch dispenser promotes a germ-free (and delicious!) environment.

Small footprint, big capacity

The Candy Wizard Candy Dispenser will only take up 6.75" of space on your desk, but it can store and dispense over 80 ounces of candy! That's nearly 2.5 liters of Reese's Pieces, M&Ms, Skittles, and gumballs!

The Candy Wizard Automatic Candy Dispenser features an 80 ounce capacity as well as light-up dispenser area.
The Candy Wizard holds a whopping 80 ounces of candy.
A small LED light activates whenever goods are dispensed.

Adjustable portion control

At Vat19.com, we operate on a scale of 1-10 and do everything at an '11'. However, we realize that not everyone wants an overflowing handful of Skittles. Thankfully, so did the smart folks who designed The Candy Wizard.

Twist the knob on the base of the unit to select between small or large helpings. You can also turn off the unit with this selector.

Use the dial to choose between a small amount or a large amount per serving.
Choose between small or large portions by twisting the dial to the "1" or "2" position.

Just think of all that tasty candy!

While it's possible that we have an overactive sweet tooth, it cannot be denied that The Candy Wizard, when filled with vibrant and mouthwatering candy, is a thing of beauty.

It was quite the struggle to take the photos below without gorging ourselves on candy corn, Skittles, Good 'n Plenty, and M&Ms.

The Automatic Candy Dispenser is compatible with many different types of small candies.

You can't eat candy all the time, right?

Nuts make for great snacks, too! Indulge your healthy habits (and reduce the spread of germs) by filling up The Candy Wizard with unsalted nuts.

Please note that salted nuts could eventually build up and clog or corrode the mechanism inside.

The Candy Wizard is also great for unsalted nuts like almonds and peanuts.
The Candy Wizard will also work its magic with unsalted nuts like almonds and peanuts.

A: We recommend against it, as the powdery coating on Sour Patch Kids could build up and clog the machine.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: Would M&M Pretzels clog up the candy wizard dispenser hole?
A: I don't think they'll clog the dispenser but they might be too large to fit through.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: Would it work with unground coffee beans?
A: Yes, the Candy Wizard would be great for that!
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: How many 14oz Skitle bags would fit the candy wizard?
A: The page says the container holds 80 ounces, so that would be approximately 5.71 14 oz bags.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: Can the candy wizard package fit in the prank gift box?
A: No, the Candy Wizard is too large for a Prank Pack.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: Can you put crunchmellows in It or will it get crumbly
A: Yep! Mini Crunchmallows would fit perfectly in the Candy Wizard, but do so with care because the dust could build up on the dispenser and cause it to clog.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: Do hot tamales work?
A: Hot Tamales would work perfectly in the Candy Wizard.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: will wrapped jolly rancers work?
A: Jolly Ranchers wouldn't work very well. The wrappers are too large and the candies themselves are too sticky when unwrapped.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: How long is the battery life for the candy wizard?
A: It depends on how often you use it, really. A single set of batteries can last for months.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: What would happen if i put a liquid in it? would it leak like crazy and get wrecked?
A: That's absolutely correct. I honestly can't imagine any other possible outcome or why anyone would want to try that, personally.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: What if someone takes the? top off and digs their hands in the candy?
A: I don't really see how lack of social grace could be the fault of the dispenser's design.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: Will there be ants crawling into the dispenser?
A: Not unless you already have an ant infestation.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: Are you going to make like a little soda vending machine?
A: That's a neat idea! Maybe someday!
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: Will small pretzels work in this?
A: No. The Candy Wizard was designed to dispense nuts and candies which are approximately the same size as an M&M or Mike & Ike. If what you want to dispense is any larger than one of those candies, then it probably won't work.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: what would happen if it got clogged then do we send it back if not how do we clean it
A: There isn't really any way to clean the mechanism that dispenses the candy, and we won't take it back if you put something in there that can clog. You should stick to the sort of candies and nuts we discuss on the page and simply avoid the possibility of a clog.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: How many M&Ms bags would it take to fill the candy wizard up?
A: I suppose it depends on the size of the bag. If you're talking about the regular packets they sell at gas stations, it would take a lot!
Was this question useful? Yes No

A: Unwrapped Warheads would fit perfectly, however the wrapped ones will not.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: You guys are awesome!!!!!!!!!!Can you put tootsie pop balls in it?
A: Those might be a little too large for the Candy Wizard. You should probably stick to smaller candies like M&Ms, Mike & Ikes, and Hot Tamales.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: So do you think Gobstoppers will work?
A: If they're the small kind, then yes, they should work just fine.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: Can you please test if gummy worm slices work? Or gummy bears? (Normal sized)
A: Gummy tends to clump up, so no, they don't work very well.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: Can u put gumballs into the Candy Wizard? Also, where do u get all that candy?
A: Only very small gumballs. You can buy candy in bulk at most candy stores or "big box" stores like Wal-Mart and Sams.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: does nams bits work with this?
A: Nam's bits are far too large and crumbly to work with the Candy Wizard.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: This is my favorite website and you guys are extremely cool. Ok question is... On the "little level", how many m&ms would come out?
A: Thanks! With M&Ms, the lowest setting dispensed about 6 pieces, while the highest setting dispensed about 12.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: With gumballs (because I want to buy one to put gumballs in), how big can they be? Do they have to be the tiny ones, or can regular sized gum balls be used (I think they're about 1 inch..). And if so, would it give you more than one at a time? Thanks
A: They must be very small. The Candy Wizard was designed for candies approximately the same size as an M&M, so you should try to stick to things that are at least that small.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: Can the Ghost Pepper Candies be dispensed through this?
A: They probably could, but you'd need to order a lot of them in order to fill the Candy Wizard.
Was this question useful? Yes No

A: Yes, Nerds will fit.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: Could you put everlasting gobbstopers in it?
A: Gobstoppers should fit just fine.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: Is there a chance that a peice of candy will get stuck and possibly break the Candy Dispenser?
A: No, not really. Use your best judgment when filling the Candy Wizard and you shouldn't have any problems.
Was this question useful? Yes No

A: You do not need to worry about that unless you already have an infestation of ants.
Was this question useful? Yes No

Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: would mike and ike candy will fit in the machine
A: Yes, Mike & Ikes will work in the Candy Wizard.
Was this question useful? Yes No

A: We don't recommend using larger wrapped candies. The Candy Wizard was designed for use with smaller unwrapped candies like Skittles, jelly beans, and M&Ms.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: Does this use batteries? And if so.. what kind of batteries?
A: The Candy Wizard requires 4xAA batteries (not included).
Was this question useful? Yes No

A: It depends on the seed. Sunflower seeds would be fine, but tiny seeds, such as those from poppies, would be far too small.

A: Yes, but only as long as they are not sugar coated.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: Would you run the risk of jamming the mechanism by putting Nerds in due to the occasional itty bitty ones?
A: It probably wouldn't be too big of an issue, as even the tiniest Nerds are usually bigger than a grain of salt or sugar.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: Can the Candy Wizard be dismantled based on the instructions?
A: The Candy Wizard is not meant to be dismantled and arrives almost completely intact. There are no instructions for dismantling it.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: Can I put liquids into the Candy Wizard instead of solids?
A: No. The Candy Wizard is not meant to dispense liquids.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: Can small insects crawl into the Candy Wizard via the hole where the candy come out?
A: They could, but if you already have an infestation of insects you should have that looked at first.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: Can the Candy Wizard be dismantled for cleaning?
A: The tub can be cleaned with a cloth, but the unit itself cannot be dismantled.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: how big is the bit the sweets come out of?
A: Not very big. Only about 1.5" wide.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: Can the Candy Wizard be dismantled for cleaning?
A: The lid can be taken off to wipe out the interior of the bowl, though apart from that it's not really possible to dismantle the entire unit. This is a big part of the reason why we say not to use sugar or salt coated treats in the Candy Wizard.
Was this question useful? Yes No

A: Small gummy bears would fit, but gummy bears have a tendency to clump up in groups, so I can't say how well they will fall through the dispenser.

A: I can't give an exact number because candy comes in all different shapes and sizes, but it ranges from a small handful of just a few pieces to a relatively large handful. With Skittles, the "small" portion yielded about 6 pieces, while the "large" portion yielded 12.

Q: Does it comes w/ free candy. You guys are awesome.
A: Thanks! Sorry, but the Candy Wizard does not come with free candy.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: Can pretzels work?
A: Pretzels may be too large and oddly shaped to fit through the dispenser of the Candy Wizard.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: How does the candy machine know when to dispense candy?
A: When your hand activated the motion sensor, the Candy Wizard will dispense its delicious payload.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: Is the container plastic and will the candy in the dispenser melt if the sun shines on it?
A: Yes, candies could melt if left in direct sunlight. The container is plastic.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: If the motion detector gets dirty am I able to clean it with Windex?
A: Since you won't actually be touching it, the motion sensor shouldn't become dirty. If you feel compelled to clean it, use a dry cloth.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: Whats the biggest candy you can put in it?
A: An almond is the biggest thing we've been able to fit, so any candy that is "almond sized" or smaller should work.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: What stuff can you put in it?
A: All different kinds of small candies and nuts would be perfect for the Candy Wizard.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: Can it hold roasted Pumpkin seeds?
A: Sure! Roasted pumpkin seeds would fit very well.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: How much does it weigh.:D
A: The Candy Wizard weighs 31 ounces, which is just shy of 2 pounds.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: This is very cool but it looks large. Are you guys going to try to find something similar but more portable?
A: There are no plans for a more "portable" version of the Candy Wizard at this time.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: Can you put sweetarts in it?
A: Sweet tarts, apart from being one of my favorite candies, would also work very well in the Candy Wizard.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: Is there any candy that is too large to be dispensed by the Candy Wizard, that could otherwise be dispensed by other regular manual candy dispensers?
A: Regular size gumballs spring immediately to mind. They are much too large for the Candy Wizard.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: i am sorry i mean. why do you not advertize tv sorry dont answer first qustien.
A: Really it's because TV advertising is very expensive and with things like TIVO and On-Demand programming, many people aren't even watching the commercials on TV.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: Is there an on and off button so that if something goes under the opening, it doesn't accidentally dispenses candy and other stuff?
A: Yes, there is an off setting for the Candy Wizard.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: How fast does it dispense?
A: The Candy Wizard will dispense candy almost immediately after putting your hand under the spout.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: Would this work with normal gumballs?
A: It will work with small gumballs, but regular size gumballs are a bit too large to fit through the Candy Wizard's dispenser.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: What about water or other liquids?
A: The Candy Wizard is not able to contain liquids. Attempting to fill it with a liquid will very likely ruin the machine.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: FINALLY! OMG FINALLY!
A: Yep! We're pretty excited about it too!
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: How big can the objects be? Can it do things like peanut butter and such?
A: You should really only stick to small candies. Peanut butter would certain jam the dispensing mechanism.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: Whaaaa...no gummy!!!?
A: Gummies would probably get stuck pretty easily in the dispensing mechanism.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: Can you set the adjusting knob to where it will only dispense one piece of candy.
A: No, sorry. The dispenser was designed to deposit small handfuls of candy at a time.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: Awesome?
A: Very.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: How long do you think it will take before my cat realizes that all it has to do in order to score my free candy is to rub it's furry body all over my new candy dispenser?
A: Hopefully not too soon! You might want to make sure you keep your kitten away from your candy stash. Keep in mind you can always use the knob to turn off the motion sensitivity when you're away.

Q: First!!!! Can it work with gum balls? And im ordering this :D
A: It will probably work with tiny gumballs, but regular size ones are too large. It was designed with small candies in mind.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: How does the candy come out like what triggers it to come out?
A: Magic! Actually, there is a motion sensor that detects when your hand is near the spout.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: Is there a selection for a coin slot on the dial so you can make money off your friends?
A: Sorry, but we do not carry a model with a coin slot.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: What kind of candies are too big or too smal to be put in this dispenser?
A: Regular size gumballs would be too big. The biggest candy that we had successful tests with were candy corns.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: You seem to be pushing "unsalted" nuts a lot here, is it because salt jams up The Candy Wizard or something, or is Vat19 trying to brainwash me into healthy eating?
A: Haha, don't worry; it's purely a mechanical issue. You don't think that the purveyors of the World's Largest Gummy Bear would try to trick you into eating healthy, do you?
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: How much is the highest amount of candy it can shoot out if you used some kind of small candy like skittles or M&M's?
A: Small does about 6 skittles and large does maybe 12. It depends on the size of the candy.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: Is the "a lot" mode make the candy overflow out of your hand?
A: It's not so much that it will cause you to spill candy everywhere, but it is a pretty decent sized portion.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: How much candy can it hold?
A: The dispenser can hold up to 80 ounces of candy. That should last quite a while!
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: What's the size limit on the individual pieces of candy that can be dispensed?
A: Honestly I wouldn't go any larger than a candy or nut larger than a Mike & Ike or cashew. Larger candies or nuts could get jammed in the machine.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: Why do the nuts have to be unsalted?
A: We recommend unsalted nuts because salt could eventually build up and clog or corrode the mechanism inside.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: How many different candy selections are there to select from?
A: There are quite a few candies that are small enough to fit. M&Ms, Skittles, Mike & Ikes, and Jelly Beans immediately come to mind, but there are hundreds of small candies and nuts that would work.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: Why unsalted nuts? Will salt clog it up?
A: That is correct. Salt could eventually build up and clog or corrode the mechanism inside.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: Can it fit other things besides nuts and candy?
A: The Candy Dispenser was really only designed to be used with small candies and nuts.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: Can gumballs fit through the hole?
A: Tiny gumballs will work in the Candy Wizard. I do know that most candy stores carry tiny gumballs which would work pretty well.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: Why only unsalted nuts?
A: The salt could eventually build up and jam/corrode the dispensing mechanism. This is why we only recommend unsalted nuts or candies.
Was this question useful? Yes No
Q: While perfect for small snacks, candies and unsalted nuts... what if I'm hungry for something more substantial? Can it be used to dispense spaghetti, or meatloaf? Or at least salted nuts?
A: There is something about the mental imagery of a meatloaf and spaghetti dispenser that is slightly disturbing. As for the salted nuts, the salt could eventually build up and jam/corrode the dispensing mechanism.
