How it works: It's as easy as 1-2-3

The Personalized Classics Gift Box contains everything the recipient needs to customize a unique copy of a classic novel.

Once they receive the box, they can either fill out and mail in the included registration certificate or they can fill out a form online. A few weeks later, they'll receive a paperback version with the changes they requested. It's simple and fun!

Rename the cast list of a beloved classic

Each of the Personalized Classics includes a list of cast members that can be renamed.

In Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, for example, you can change up to six cast members. If you change Alice to Blanche, even the title of the book will change (i.e. Blanche's Adventures in Wonderland)!

We must admit that it's great fun to see "O Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo" become "O Pat, Pat, wherefore art thou Pat?"

When the recipient registers their gift, they are given the opportunity to add a second author to the title page. In the picture below you'll see that this one-of-a-kind edition of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz was written by L. Frank Baum and Grandma and Grandpa.

Frequently Asked Questions

Question: Can I change the names to anything I want?

Answer: Yes. If you want to change Romeo and Juliet to Becks and Posh, go for it. There are no restrictions. However, if you change the gender of a name, please note that this could get confusing for the reader as the pronouns that reference those characters will not change. So, Alice will still be referred to as "her" and "she" even if you change her name to "Gordon".

Question: Does the recipient have to pay anything to register and receive their book?

Answer: Nope! Everything (including printing and postage) is included in the cost of the Personalized Classic Gift Box.

Question: How long does it take after registration for the recipient to receive their bound and printed copy?

Answer: At maximum, it will take 28 days.

Question: So do I pick the new cast members at the time of purchase?

Answer: No. The gift box includes instructions and a registration code for creating the customized copy. You could keep the gift for yourself or give it to a friend or relative. Whomever registers the gift (either by mail or online) will customize and receive the paperback copy of the book.
