Overview:

Yes, the Rainbow Reef turtle is the slowest in the rainbow reef group. However, while the other fish are off finding nemo, your trusty turtle has never stopped swimming.

He'll definitely make it to the deep end with plenty of time to spare before winter starts. Hmm, we might have mixed fables there. Oh well.

For people who like: water fun, toys

Features & specs:

  • Requires 2 AA batteries (not included)
  • 11" long x 8" high

Your trusty turtle tends to tread slowly

Swimways Rainbow Reef Turtle swims

Toss your turtle into the pool and watch him swim around. He's definitely slower than the other fish, sharks, and dolphins in the Rainbow Reef family, but that doesn't mean he's any less special.

Seriously, though, the turtle is still a ton of fun. Just don't expect him to set any swimming records.

A few customer questions we've answered

Q: Does it Dive?
A: The Swimways Turtle doesn't dive. He swims near the surface of the water and moves in a vaguely circular fashion. If you're looking for a toy that goes beneath the surface of the water, though, the Swimways Dolphin Toy does dive.

Q: Will the dolphins work in a hot tub as well?
A: The Swimways Turtle and Swimways Dolphin will work in a bathtub. However, since they are a little big for a tub, they may not swim very far before hitting the sides.

Q: Can it jump?
A: No, the Swimways Turtle can only swim.

Q: Are the rainbow reef product ok to use in saltwater?
A: Yes, the Swimways Turtle will work just fine in salt water, however it may reduce the lifespan a little bit.
