Each candle is a solid piece of decadent belgian chocolate with a wick that lights just like a normal candle. After the birthday boy or girl blows out the flame, munch on the deliciously rich chocolate as a complement to your cake. And don’t worry if you bite off a piece of wick; the organic hemp is safe for consumption as well.

Frequently Asked Questions
Question: Is the wick chocolatey?
Answer: The Edible Candle's wick is made of organic hemp, not chocolate. While it’s perfectly safe to eat, the taste doesn’t live up to the deliciousness of rest of the candle. You may want to remove it before eating.
Question: Does the candle taste waxy?
Answer: Edible Candles are actually just pieces of milk chocolate with a small wick in them. As long as you don’t bite the wick, you’ll only taste chocolate.
Question: Does every bite of candle contain wick?
Answer: The wick runs about half an inch into the top of the candle. Everything else is pure chocolate goodness.
Question: Does the chocolate melt when the flame reaches it?
Answer: In our testing, there was a little melting, but the flame pretty much went out when the wick burned down to the chocolate (about a minute or so).
