You don't need to store the Giant 5-Pound Gummy Bear in the fridge if you keep it in a sealed bag. Storing it in the fridge won't harm it, but it will get harder. From a freshness standpoint, a sealed WLGB in a fridge could last indefinitely.

As far as we know, the largest gummy bear ever created (named "Hagi-Boi") was in 1999 in Hagenow, Germany. It was 5.5 feet long and weighed 1,395 pounds. That's the weight of five Giant Pandas!

Yep, the WLGB has a shelf life of a year when kept sealed.

We left a WLGB sitting out in the Vat19 kitchen for a couple of weeks and mold did not grow on it.

It's not hollow, so it'd be pretty difficult to inject anything into it.

You do not need to store the gummy bear in the fridge. You can keep it sealed up in a bag at room temperature after some gummy snack time.

All of our gummies are the same consistency. Don't forget that you can always use a fork and knife to cut them in to more manageable pieces.

The consistency is different but that's only because it's so much more massive. As for flavor, they taste a lot like Black Forest, a German confectioner.

If you keep it wrapped and refrigerated, a WLGB can last months (up to a year) before becoming stale.

How would the shelf-life be in a tropical country where it's very humid? will it get all sticky and icky?

Research and Development didn't send us to a tropical paradise to test this out, so we can't say for sure. If you keep it sealed (in a Ziploc, plastic container, or plastic bag it comes in) and out of heat and sunlight, it should still have a shelf-life of about a year.

Will it taste bad if left on the counter for days?

If you leave it unwrapped for just a couple of days, it will get harder but it should still taste OK. You should keep it wrapped up or in a container to keep it fresh and gummy.

will it mold or look gross if i don't ever eat it? it's too beautiful to eat!!

The manufacturer thinks that at some point the gummy bear could start to break down. They have found it to have a shelf life of at least 12-18 months.

Is it kosher?

We're afraid not. All of our gummy products contain pork gelatin, which means that they are not kosher, halal, vegan, or vegetarian.

Why do the ones with different flavors cost more than the others?

The multi-flavored WLGBs cost more because they're a little more complicated to make than their single-flavored siblings.

Please answer honestly: do all gummy bears enjoy being eaten? I don't think I can stand the guilt of hurting a poor innocent gummy bear.

Will you ever make a sour version?

Probably not. Sour gummies are only sour because of the citric acid powder they're coated with. If we did that, only the outermost layer would actually be sour. To answer the usual followup question, that powder does not mix into the gummy very well at all, so it cannot be made sour throughout.

The gummy bear is sealed in a clear plastic bag and then packaged inside a decorative yellow box with a handle on the top.

While ballistics gel and the WLGB do both contain gelatin, the WLGB obviously has many ingredients (such as coloring and flavoring) that are not used in ballistics gel. Before someone asks - no, do not try to shoot bullets into your gummy bear.

I wouldn't recommend it. Remember that for something to melt it must be hot. Drinking hot liquid sugar isn't terribly appealing.

How easy would you be able to eat this if you had braces? Just with the whole bite, tear and chew thing (that's most of the fun) you'd think that unless it had a fairly soft consistency your braces'd fall apart.

We don't recommend biting into the Giant 5-Pound Gummy Bear (or any of our gummy candies) if you have braces. They're pretty thick, chewy, and sticky so it could definitely harm braces.

Since we do not offer melt protection on international orders, the order would be completely at your own risk. What we recommend is placing an order as early in the week as possible with the fastest shipping method available. This can be expensive, but it will help reduce the odds of it melting during shipment.

Sorry, but a sour WLGB isn't really possible. With regular gummies, the sour flavor is contained in the sugar coating, not the gummy itself. With a gummy this large, the sour flavor would only be on the outside, which is a little impractical.

If kept wrapped in plastic your WLGB can stay fresh for several weeks, giving you plenty of time to finish it. It's usually easier to serve up the remaining WLGB with a fork and knife once you've bitten off the smaller pieces.

Giant 5-Pound Gummy Bears are colored during production, so the color goes all the way to the center. They have a shelf life of about one year, but you should definitely keep it wrapped and refrigerated if you plan on snacking on it for a while.

It's quite a feat to eat the WLGB in one day. As far as we know, no one has done it, and we don't really encourage it either. We suggest taking it slow and making the gummy goodness last as long as possible.

You should keep it out of sunlight and away from heat. Although the WLGB does not need to be refrigerated, you can keep it in the fridge if you want. You could store it (sealed) in a kitchen cabinet or pantry.

How do u make one yourself?

You'd have to get a really large bear-shaped mold, make some gummy, pour it in, let it set, and get it to release. We think it is a million times easier to just buy one from us!

You can but it's not necessary. They have a shelf life of one year when sitting at room temperature.

Between 85 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Keep in mind that most warehouses and delivery trucks are not air conditioned. If you're ordering during the summer you should always choose to include melt protection.

It tastes like Cherry Cola, which is a distinctly unique flavor.

We realize we're doing a bit of semantic gymnastics, but the Party Gummy Bear's tummy container takes it out of the realm of a traditional gummy bear."

Unless you leave it in direct sunlight approaching 90 degrees Fahrenheit, you don't need to worry. Even though they're large, our gummies are no different than regular gummies in terms of how you need to store them. Room temperature is just fine.

No, it just means that that's the brand most people are familiar with and which they most closely resemble.

When you say this thing has a shelf life of a year.... Do you mean it's eaten in a year or expired in a year?

It means that if you leave it wrapped and unopened it will last for a year. Even if you open it and reseal the bag it will still last for several months.

The molds are the same but the angle the WLGBs were shot at might not be identical.
