This Ambient CD includes two tracks that are 35 minutes long each. The first contains just the sounds of windchimes. The second is of the same windchimes placed outdoors.

These are not sound effects loops, but continuous recordings. Designed to be played at a soft to medium volume, they are extremely relaxing. They were recorded by audio specialists to ensure optimal quality.

Q: What sound range are the chimes - all bass, all soprano, mixture of low and high tones? What other sounds are in the background during the outdoors portion?
A: The windchimes on the Ambient Windchimes CD seem to be mostly soprano with one or two lower notes that sound pretty regularly. The only sounds in the background of the outdoor track are occasional chirping birds (a variety of songbirds native to the midwestern region of the United States).
