Holds recipe cards behind a splash guard

We like the Prop Cookbook Stand with Storage because we can store recipe cards and constantly refer to them without getting them messy.

This ingenious cookbook stand features a plexiglas splashguard to prevent marinara sauce fingerprints on your recipes. Of course, not everyone is a messy cook. But, that just means you're not doing it right.

The cookbook holder's splash guard protects recipe cards.

Common conversions provide quick reference

A handy conversion chart is tastefully printed on top of the cookbook stand. It shows conversions for some common measurements.

Common conversions are clearly printed on the Prop Cookbook Holder with Storage.
If you need to convert teaspoons to ounces,

Oh, yeah, it props up a cookbook, too!

As the product's name suggests, the Prop Cookbook Stand with Storage props up a cookbook for convenient and easy reading.

Your questions that have been answered by the Vat19.com staff

Q: Is the thickness of the cookbook holder adjustable or what is the thickest cookbook it will hold?
A: At the most shallow point, the Prop Cookbook Holder is about 1 inch deep. When it comes to storage, it's probably best suited to small recipe books, cards, and clippings.

Q: Is the bottom made out of wood or plastic?
A: The bottom is made out of wood and the clear splash guard is acrylic.

Q: How heavy of a cookbook will this hold? I have an old version of " The Joy of Cooking."
A: Given that the editions we've seen run around 800-900 pages, it's pretty unlikely that The Joy of Cooking would fit in the Prop Cookbook Stand. While it's definitely a very sturdy stand and could store something fairly heavy, the size makes it best for storing small booklets and recipe cards.

Q: I understand the "storage" part of this stand is not suited for books, but how thick and/or heavy a cookbook is this stand able to "prop" up as shown in the photo above?
A: For the best fit, the book (when opened to the page you need) should be less than 2-2.5". The Plexiglas splashguard can lean forward to allow for larger cookbooks, though. In terms of weight, the prop is fairly sturdy, but we would recommend giving it some kind of additional support if you're going to be using an extremely heavy cookbook. Cookbooks that heavy are pretty uncommon, though, so it's unlikely that weight will be an issue in most cases.
