A: The small red button on the bottom right corner of the Fire Bell Alarm Clock plays a sample of the alarm sound. In order for the alarm to sound, you need to set the clock, set the alarm, and push the toggle switch over to "AL".

Q: Why is the back light button so big? It seems very overpowering to the other buttons on the clock; do you think they get jealous?
A: The large silver button not only turns on the backlight, but it also turns off the alarm. Additionally, it serves as part of the fire bell's design, hence its size. As for the other buttons, they are aware of their own importance, so they feel no envy for the backlight/alarm-off button.
