Each kit includes a handful of pre-cut paper parts which you fold and tuck to create a sturdy, 3D bobblehead character. The best part is that it will bob on its own as long as there's a little light (artificial or natural) in the room! The solar-powered rocker arm will keep your bobblehead noddin' till the cows come home.

Kit includes display base and detailed instructions including multiple color photographs per step. Available in four characters that require 20-25 minutes each to construct. Ages 12+.

Everything you need is in the box

Each Solar-Powered Bobblehead comes in a small cardboard box (5.5" x 3.5" x 1.5"). Everything you'll need to complete your character is included inside.

A handful of pre-cut paper pieces are used to fashion your character as well as the decorations for the display base. A solar-powered rocker provides the bobbling action and doubles as a solid base for your paper character.

An extremely detailed set of instructions is also included.

A little bit of light goes a long way

The small solar cell and a scant bit of light will keep your bobblehead head-bobbin' almost indefinitely. Sunlight is not at all a necessity. Artificial light provides more than enough energy to keep your bobblehead going.

The included solar rocker is hidden inside the body of your bobblehead. A small metal arm holds the character's head and creates the distinctive bobblehead action.

Incredible instructions

We wouldn't normally highlight a product's instructions. But in this case, we had to make an exception.

At first glance, we were freaked out by the 80+ steps. But once we started, we realized that the creators included photographs of the before and after of each step. In some cases, they would show you what a particular fold should look like from multiple angles! Because they numbered each photo, the actual number of steps is inflated.

Bottom line: It'll take you 20-25 minutes to put together each bobblehead.

No special tools required

The DIY Solar-Powered Bobblehead doesn't require any fancy crafting "stuff". No wood glue. No star-shaped hole punches. No sewing machines. Rather, you can get up and running using just your hands.

The occasional cut with a box knife may make a step or two with some characters a tad easier. However, they aren't required.
