Overview
Add some personality to any bare room with Cardboard Safari Animals. Each DIY wall trophy is made from a series of laser-cut recycled cardboard pieces.
Due to their precision fit, the interlocking pieces can be assembled quickly and without any tools or glue.
Cardboard Safari Animals are available in five styles: Bucky (large deer), Buck Jr. (small deer), Moose, Rhino, and Unicorn.
A small hole on the back of each trophy is provided for mounting. Made in the USA.

When were unicorns ever categorized as a safari animal?
Slightly before they were hunted to extinction.

It's certainly possible. Please keep checking back!
How much does the unicorn weight?
The Unicorn weighs approximately 7 ounces.
Are these heads durable?
As durable as cardboard wall hangings need to be! As long as they're allowed to hang on the wall unmolested they should hold up for many, many years.
How much do they weigh?
Between 7 ounces and 33 ounces (the larger being for Bucky).
Is it easy to take apart too?
Assuming you don't glue the pieces in place, yes, they're just as easy to disassemble as they are to assemble.
I was just wondering, I am going to order the unicorn and I want to decorate it. Should I decorate it before its assembled or after?
Decorations should always come after assembly. Not only does it help to know what the final product will look like, but adding decorations too soon might prevent you from assembling it correctly.
How do you hang it? Like with a hook or something?
A hook, nail, or tack would work. There's a hole in the back of the trophy from which it can be hung.
since when are unicorns safari animals? no serious question. which one has the least parts?
Of course they are! Sadly, overhunting has driven them to extinction. I believe the Bucky Jr. has the fewest pieces.
Can you make a pink uincorn?
No but YOU can! All you need is a little bit of paint.
Can this product be hung by tape?
Not reliably, but Joe's Sticky Stuff works pretty well! We even sell it right here at Vat19.
I'm living in a college dorm. How can I mount it without causing any holes in the wall?
This might be the answer to your problem!
Are you absolutely, positively and 119% sure that you cannot over decorate the fantastic unicorn and if so can you please give me ideas?
We've never been more sure of anything in our lives. You could buy two unicorns and decorate them to look like dueling Sith/Jedi unicorns!

what if it gets wet?
They're made of cardboard, so obviously getting wet will cause damage. I'm not sure how they'll get wet if they're hanging on the wall.

It's hard to say. Time flies when you're sniffing paint fumes and throwing glitter around.

The first rule of the man cave is to be yourself. We'd be violating that sacred tradition by telling you what you can and cannot put in the man cave.
Whats the diffrence between buck bucky jr.?
Bucky is twice as large as Bucky Jr. We actually include the measurements for each Cardboard Safari Animal Trophy at the top of the page in the "Features and Specs" section.
Why just the head? what about the rest of it?
Most hunters don't mount entire carcasses on their wall.
Can Joe's Sticky Stuff Tape harm the precious cardboard animals when you remove it?
Not that we've noticed. Joe's Sticky Stuff is very easy to remove.
does the unicorn come with glitter?
Sorry, but you'll need to provide your own bling.

Why is the Bucky one more than the others?
Because it's almost twice as large as the other trophies.
How does the mane on the unicorn stay on?
There's a dedicated slot for the mane.
Would you be able to put this on a Levitron Revolution?
Sadly no. They're too large and oddly shaped to be balanced on a Levitron.
Is this considered bad karma?
I don't see how it could be considered bad karma. It's not like you're actually harming any animals.
Shipping to Australia any problems?
Not as long as you provide a valid address.
2 questions. First, can the cardboard bend when you're putting it together and leave s line in the cardboard? Second, How do you make the thin unicorn mane? Thank you, Jamie! You and the rest of the employees rock and deserve tips!
There's no need to bend the cardboard during construction, and as I'm sure you know it takes a deliberate amount of force to bend cardboard to the point where it creases. As for the mane, the cardboard is already scored so all you have to do is "fluff" it out.

If you're hunting it in a foreign or exotic location, then yes, it absolutely counts as a safari animal.
hello, can you please tell me how you got the unicorn to look like the one the video? did you just put glue on the edges and sprinkle glitter or put the glue all over? thanks :)
You pretty much nailed it. It's incredible how majestic an animal can appear to be with just a little glitter and glue.

Do the cardboard pieces come in the form of a sheet where you can pop out the parts or do they come already seperated?
The pieces come in a sheet which they can be popped free from.

Maybe a 2? The assembly instructions are quite clear.

We're no taxidermists, but I'm going to venture a guess and say probably not.

What happens if you dunked the full made trophy in water (fully) for 3-8 hours?
It would be ruined. They're made of paper/cardboard, after all.

It's made of the exact same cardboard material which has been frayed to give it a "hairy" appearance.

Bucky & Bucky Jr. are both stags, which is a male deer.
Would 'Joe's Sticky Stuff Double-sided tape' be able to hang up these awesome products?
You would want to use several strips, but yes, I'm fairly certain that Joe's Sticky Stuff would be able to support the weight.

For the unicorn. If you want to leave out the horn and make it a horse, would there be a giant hole in its forehead?
The horn is actually part of the head, so you'd have to cut it off.
Does the difficulty of assembly depend on which animal you get?
A little, but none of the Cardboard Safari Animals are particularly difficult to assemble.
Is it hard to assemble?
Not really. I think most of our customers should be able to put one together in about 10-15 minutes.
What are the actual dimensions of the moose?
I see the height is 13" but is the length 12" and depth 11"? Or the depth 12" and length 11"?

Any animal that can be hunted in an exotic location qualifies as a safari animal.

Not really. Cardboard is a reliably sturdy material.
Since they're cardboard, wouldn't be easy to break one of them?
Maybe if you jumped on it or kicked it around. I can't think of how it would be damaged by just hanging on the wall.
