Overview
Kanoodle is a mind-twisting solitaire puzzle game that is easy to understand, but difficult to solve.
Begin with the "easier" 2-D puzzles which challenge you to completely fill the puzzle board using the Tetris-like pieces. If you can master the 2-D noodlers, move on to the brain-twisting 3-D puzzles where you need to create five-tiered pyramids using the same set of puzzle pieces. Call us if you ever solve them all. But don't be surprised if we declare shenanigans.
Multiple levels of difficulty will make you wish you studied harder in school. Comes with a sturdy carrying case for travel or on-the-go play.

Kanoodle is a simple, yet challenging solitaire game. Comprised of just twelve pieces (only seven in the "Genius" edition), you may think it's child's play. And you would be right if your child was related to Einstein.
Kanoodle can be played two ways: 2-D or 3-D.
- In the 2-D mode (pictured below, on the left), you are given a starting arrangement. Your goal is to fill the entire board with the remaining pieces.
- In the 3-D version (pictured below, on the right), you are also given a starting arrangement. However, your goal is to complete a multi-level pyramid using the remaining pieces. It's dang hard!

Step 1: Choose from 100+ brainteasing puzzles
The Kanoodle case, which is also the game board, houses a booklet full of puzzles. To start Kanoodling (playing the game, not making out awkwardly), simply select a puzzle from the booklet.
The puzzle diagram illustrates how you should arrange the pieces to start the game. The higher the difficulty, the fewer starting pieces you'll be given. Note: Solutions are not included in the booklet.
To begin a Kanoodle, choose a puzzle from the puzzle booklet.
Step 2: Arrange the pieces according to the booklet
After you've chosen the puzzle, arrange the pieces on your board as shown in the booklet. The leftover pieces must then be placed on the board to completely fill it. This is when you start using your brain. Don't hurt yourself.

Step 3: Fill the board using the remaining pieces
As you can see in the picture below, we rocked a level 2 Kanoodle. If we had chosen a much more difficult puzzle, we'd probably still be working on it.
Fill the board completely using the remaining pieces in order to solve the Kanoodle.
Multi-level game will challenge (and haunt) you for years
Each edition of Kanoodle features multiple levels of difficulty in both the 2-D and 3-D modes of gameplay. They also include bonus levels for you true puzzling sadists. Solve them all and you can crown yourself a Kanoodle champion.
Both editions of Kanoodle can be played in 2-D and 3-D mode.

Conquer the 2-D puzzles, then move on to the 3-D pyramids
Should you prove your intellectual enormity by solving all of the 2-D puzzles, you can then move on to the 3-D pyramid puzzles. Of course, you could jump right into the 3-D puzzles, but that's like jumping into the deep end without your water wings.
Similarly to 2-D mode, you begin 3-D mode by choosing a puzzle. Next, arrange the puzzle pieces as described in the puzzle booklet. Depending on the level of difficulty, you will be given fewer and fewer starting locations. Your goal is to use the remaining pieces to create a five-tier pyramid.
Because the pieces can be arranged horizontally or vertically "across" multiple tiers of the pyramid, these puzzles are much more challenging than the 2-D puzzles. Enjoy the headache!

When using the kanoodle in a car, will the pieces come off the gameboard because of the bumpiness of the roads/car?
It would have to be an extremely bumpy road to knock the pieces loose.
Will it fit in the teeny tiny pockets in girls pants?
Yes, it will even fit in those vestigial slits in women's pockets that designers have the nerve to call pockets.
Do the pieces break easily?
Not unless you're intentionally trying to snap them.
When you buy it, do you get the 3D and 2D puzzles?
Yep. You use the same pieces to construct the 3D puzzles.
Will you ever make one in 4-d?
We tried that and ended up accidentally opening a portal to another dimension. I don't think we're going to try again.
Does it's color fade over time ,and does it break easily?
It would require a deliberate effort to break your Kanoodle. The pieces shouldn't lose their color at all (unless you left them to bleach in the sun).
How many 2d puzzles are there same with the 3d?
There are over 100 different puzzles to keep your noodle twisted.
Do I have to buy two different puzzles or does it all come in one puzzle???

Does every puzzle only have one way to solve?
That's correct. Each puzzle has only one correct configuration.
In kanoodle, is level six (the last level) is it as hard as level 2 or 3 in genius? I just wanted to know how hard it is.
I would actually say it's a little harder. The first puzzle in the Genius edition is as challenging as the last in the Standard.
Can you play with two players?
We don't see why not. You could take turns with a friend trying to solve the puzzle. You could also compete against your friends to see who can solve the puzzle fastest.

No, the pieces are not magnetic, so you might want to avoid letting kids play with Kanoodle if the ride is particularly bumpy or if they're just bad at keeping still.

It's the same basic idea but the puzzles are much more difficult.

If you're especially clever you might be able to come up with your own puzzles. The book provides a lot of puzzles though so you should be kept fairly busy.

They're both equally awesome, just for different reasons. The 36 Cube is definitely more challenging.

Each set comes with dozens of different puzzles of varying difficulty. Some are easy and some are highly challenging.

I am trying to solve 2d challenge number 4 and am beginning to think there is no solution. I have put the "plus" shaped noodle in every possible position and moved everything around with no success. Is it a trick? I have spent about 4 hours on this.

The puzzles themselves are not that hard. Fairly easy to solve. Try to find solutions to Kanoodle without using the booklet. Much more difficult, especially on the 3D puzzles. Are their any other puzzles similar to Kanoodle, but more difficult?

No magnets. You just arrange and stack them so that they stay together in a pyramid shape.

I just bought my Kanoodle and love it! But one issue I noticed is the case is really odd and I feel if I open and close it to much it will snap. Does it snap in half after a lot of use? If so is there a way to avoid it snapping or can it be fixed?
No. If anything the hinge will become more loose over time. Just try to avoid twisting or forcing the lid.

We suppose you could work something out. Kanoodle is more of a singleplayer game; attempting to turn it into a competitive game would be like having two people competing to finish the same crossword puzzle.

Probably because it looks neat. We aren't the manufacturer so it wasn't our decision.

Mostly because of the small pieces which can be a choking hazard for small children, but really young children also might not be able to grasp some of the more difficult puzzles.

No, the pieces are not magnetic and do not "stick" together in any way. You must assemble them in a way that they "interlock" and form a pyramid.

There are 101 standard puzzles and 202 puzzles genius puzzles. All of the standard puzzles are "2D". We touch on this in the description and go into further detail in the page that follows.
