Mission to Space Desktop Skill Game
Use pulleys to navigate your rocket through a space-themed maze.

Overview
Mission to Space is an inventive—and charmingly low-tech—game that tests the coordination and patience of would-be astronauts.
Your mission objective is to transport your precious cargo (a marble) along the designated route while avoiding the many dangers (holes) along the way. Pilot your rocketship using the pulleys, increasing and decreasing slack on each line to carefully maneuver your craft through one of the game’s four mazes.
If you can avoid losing your cargo in the game’s swiss-cheese-like board, you might have what it takes to travel to the stars.

Mission to Space is a unique game that challenges you to navigate the treacherous dangers of space travel with a completely inventive piloting system.
The pulley system used in this desktop skill game requires precise maneuvering, and finding the exact balance of force needed to traverse the maze presents an engrossing challenge.
Once you’ve mastered the controls, compete against a friend in a space race to see who can conquer the cosmos the fastest.
Mission objectives
Before leaving the launch pad, load your marble into the center of your rocket. Then grab the rocket-shaped handles on the ends of each string to control your craft.
Pulling down on one string will pull the rocket up and toward that side. Pulling on both with equal force will guide the rocket straight up. You’ll need to make subtle adjustments to the tension in each string in order to circumvent the maze’s many obstacles.
If you accidentally steer your ship over a hole, the marble will fall to the bottom, and you’ll need to prepare a new flight. Keep trying until you reach the Mission Complete endpoint.
You’ll need to pull some strings to get a piloting job.
Danger ahead!
Mission to Space includes four mazes on two double-sided boards. Each board has an easy and a hard side, so you can select the appropriate challenge level for your piloting experience. No matter which maze you choose, the holes in each provide plenty of threat of mission failure.
All four mazes have a colorful space theme with the obstacles representing planets, meteors, and aliens.
Choose your space.

Answer: The challenge of Mission to Space is to follow the game’s designated path which guides you precariously close to the holes in the board.
