Colorful coasters crafted by hand from recycled plastic
This set of coasters (including the storage bowl) is entirely made from recycled plastic.
Crafted by Nepalese artisans in the remote mountain villages of Shertung, Tipling, and Lapa, each piece is made using discarded non-biodegradable plastic wrappers from popular food products. The wrappers are cleaned, sanitized, and then wrapped tightly into a spiral design.

These brightly colored coasters are made entirely from recycled plastic wrappers.
Includes six coasters per set
For me, personally, a mere four coasters per set would be sufficient. I simply don't have enough friends to warrant a set of six. Feeling sorry for me yet? If not, would it help if I told you that I was born with a terrible singing voice? Don't believe me? Just watch this video all the way until the end.
Well...for everyone except me, you'll be more than pleased to know that each set of Recycled Plastic Coasters includes six coasters as well as a nifty storage bowl.

You'll receive six coasters in each set.
Keep your coasters handy with the included storage bowl
In many areas of Nepal, you're not going to find a weekly recycling bin pick-up. In order to help educate inhabitants about the importance of recycling, non-profit humanitarian programs were started to encourage the collection of the non-biodegradable "trash" used to create these coasters.
Your purchase of these festive coasters helps provide a livelihood for the people of these remote villages. Plus, they're striking, a great conversation starter, and a fantastic way to reuse waste that would otherwise pile up in a landfill.
Lastly, you're going to need to use something to protect your tables, right? So, pick up a set (or two!) of these Recycled Plastic Coasters and you'll also get the storage bowl.

Each set of Recycled Plastic Coasters includes a storage bowl that is made from the same materials as the coasters.
