Overview:

MouseRugs are functional art. Their primary purpose in life is as a computer mousing surface. And MouseRugs perform this function with flair. The Lextra surface is a patented process in which seven million yarn-dyed nylon fibers are driven into intricate designs using high voltage. That may sound a little scary, but don't worry, MouseRugs won't give you any shocks of static electricity.

MouseRugs are area rugs for your mouse

MouseRugs are like tiny oriental carpets that you never have to vacuum. And as far as a mousing surface goes, MouseRugs are smoother than melted butter on hot toast. In fact, while creating the very web page that you are reading, we are using the Tree of Life MouseRug. MouseRugs truly are incredibly smooth. It's not at all like trying to run a mouse over shag carpeting (which we didn't actually test, but assume would be horrible). MouseRugs truly are incredibly smooth mouse pads.

A: Mouserugs have a rubbery backing that helps them stay in one spot on your desk.

Q: These are persian rugs, and I strongly believe that you should mention where they actually originate from. Hopefully you didn't copy the mousepads they sell in Iran today.
A: Although the designs are inspired by traditional Persian rugs, the MouseRugs are made in Colorado.

Q: Because you show an apple mouse, does that mean you support macs, or PCs?
A: We won't go there. Since you asked, though, the computers in the Vat19 offices are split roughly 50/50 between the two.

A: You could use a mini USB-powered vacuum or dustbuster, but we don't recommend using a full-size vacuum on this little rug.

A: If you say the magic words, they will. Unfortunately, we're not exactly sure which words will do the trick.

Q: if i get it will there be any ppl trying 2 pray on it ?
A: Smurfs are probably the only people-like creatures that could fit on our MouseRugs. And they don't fare well when being shipped cross-country.

Q: Are there additional images of the rugs themselves? I know you're trying to say "THIS IS NOT A RUG, IT IS A MOUSEPAD" by having the mouse sitting on it, but I want to know what's underneath that area.
A: If you watch our Computer MouseRug video, you can catch glimpses of all the "bare" rugs with no mouse on them.

Q: Do these rugs de-fuzz over time? I am wondering both how long they will live, and whether they will shorten my lifespan with inhaled fibers.
A: We've had one of the Computer MouseRugs in use here at the Vat19 offices for over a year and we've yet to see any fuzz or fibers come off.
