Q: what surfaces will it not work on

Q: Would this work well for washing dishes?
A: Yes, the Ultimate Cloth is great for washing dishes. You'll still want to use dish soap, of course. But you'll be surprised at how easily the cloth cleans grease, especially out of things like plastic storage containers (aka Tupperware). Also, when you're done washing the dishes, you can wring out the cloth and use it to dry them. It doesn't matter that the cloth is a little damp - it actually still works better than most dishtowels.
