Q: How powerful is the USB Retro Desk fan?
A: The USB Retro Desk Fan is slightly less powerful than our traditional USB desk fan. It's just powerful enough to give you the feeling of a light breeze when positioned on your desk at about arm's length, but not so strong that it will blow away loose papers or mess up your hair.

Q: With a Mac computer, do you have to plug the fan into one of the USB jacks in the back, or can you plug it in the back of the keyboard?
A: You can definitely plug the USB Retro Desk Fan into the keyboard port of your computer. It may be hard to see, but in the picture above where we show the height of the fan, it is actually plugged into the keyboard of a Mac.

Q: Is The USB Retro Fan three speed? Does the USB fan plub into the keyboard? Does it turn around in your face like a normal fan?
A: The USB Retro Desk Fan has a single speed, and the neck is adjustable only in the up/down direction. It does not oscillate. If you have a USB port on your keyboard, you can plug it into your keyboard.

Q: does it work for windows?
A: The USB Retro Desk Fan will work on any computer with a USB port. The desk fan simply uses the electricity from the port to power itself. So, this USB desk fan will work on any computer with a USB port regardless of the computer's operating system.

Q: How loud is it?
A: The USB Retro Desk Fan is very quiet. In fact, it is one of the quietest USB fans we tested.

Q: Is this product made of metal or plastic?
A: The USB Retro Desk Fan is made of plastic.

Q: Does it affect the performance of the PC at all?
A: The only effect it will have is that it may use just a little bit more power. It doesn't take much to run the USB fan, so it won't have any effect on your ability to run programs.

Q: With a Mac computer, is there an on/off script option that will send or interrupt power to the usb fan?
A: Our manufacturer hasn't heard of anything like this for the USB Retro Desk Fan.
