The Jumbo Universal Remote Control is compatible with most major brands of AV devices and can be easily programmed to control up to eight different devices. Like other universal remote controls, the Jumbo Universal Remote control comes with a booklet of codes that you can use to program the device.
If you're concerned about wehther your brand is covered, you shouldn't be. Nearly every major brand of TV, VCR, DVD, Satellite, and Cable Box is listed. Even if you haven't heard of the brand, it's probably covered. For instance, there are 137 different brands of TVs.

Large remote control with big, soft buttons
If you're looking for a big button remote control, you've found it. The large, soft buttons on the Jumbo Universal Remote Control make it incredibly easy to use. After a long day of texting the two people who will actually bother to return a text, I'm happy to use an electronic device whose buttons are clear and simple to use. When I want to change the volume, I like having a large remote control whose volume button is larger than my thumb.
Obviously, a large remote control deserves big buttons.
A somewhat comprehensive list of compatible devices
TVs: We're certain that every brand of TV is covered (there's 137 different ones listed). There are many that we hadn't heard of (such as Starlite, Prism, and Runco), so we're going to assume that yours is listed.
VCRs: I haven't played a VHS tape in a looong time. But, if you've still got some really motivating Richard Simmons workout tapes that you like to watch, there are over 100 different brands of VCR covered.
DVDs: JVC, Magnavox, Mitsubishi, Philips, Pioneer, Proscan, Sony, RCA, and Toshiba are covered. While this may not seem like a lot, we've found that most DVD players' (even if the manufacturer isn't listed here) still respond to one of the codes.
Satellite Receivers: Alphastar, Echosphere (Dish Network), Echostar (Dish System), GE, Hitachi Sys I, Hitachi Sys II, Hughes, Magnavox, JVC, Panasonic, Philips, Primestar, Proscan, RCA, Sony, TCE, Toshiba, Uniden.
