Overview

The rugged Fisher .375 Caliber Bullet Pen is built to look like a .375 caliber rifle round. In fact, the cap is actually made from an authentic H&H .375 magnum shell. When opened, the pen fits back into the cap, giving you a balanced and sturdy writing instrument.

The ink cartridge used within all Fisher pens, including the .375 Caliber Bullet Pen, was designed for use in the zero gravity environment of space. The pressurized ink cartridge allows the pen to write at any angle, underwater, and even upside down. The specialized thixotropic ink writes three times longer than standard ink, in extreme temperatures, and even on top of grease and oil. Single black ink refills now available.

It's a pen that looks like a bullet. You should own several.

The .375 Caliber Bullet Pen is one tough writing implement thanks to its solid, brass lacquered exterior, and its cap which is made from an authentic .375 magnum shell.

Its ink cartridge was designed to work in outer space. So, it has no problem handling the rigors of plain ol' Earth.

The Bullet Pen writes at any angle, upside down, and underwater. Its specialized ink can even write on top of grease.

Specialized ink writes upside down (and in zero gravity)

In the 1960s, Paul C. Fisher invented the original Space Pen. Designed to work flawlessly in zero gravity and under the strenuous conditions of space travel, the Space Pen was the first pen approved by NASA to be used in space.

Since the 1960s, the Fisher Space Pen has been continuously improved and is still the pen of choice on all manned space flights. The .375 Caliber Bullet Space Pen features this same Space Pen ink refill which can write upside down, underwater, and at all angles.

Unlike traditional pens which lose their steam on a vertical surface, the .375 Caliber Bullet Pen is great for when you're lying on the couch or jotting down a note against a wall.

The Bullet Pen writes underwater!

The unique characteristics of the thixotropic ink used in all Fisher Pens (including the .375 Caliber Bullet Pen) mean that it can write underwater. How awesome is that?!

While you may never need to jot down a note inside of a fish tank, this feature could come in extremely handy if you're writing down a gorgeous woman's number in the rain. Or you spill some water on your papers while in a meeting. Or your next big idea hits you in the shower. Or you have to demonstrate the awesomeness of your pen to your co-workers using a small blue bowl (see picture below).

Writes on oil and in extreme weather conditions

In addition to being able to write underwater, at any angle, and upside down, the .375 Caliber Bullet Pen can also write in extreme temperatures ranging from -30° F (-35° C) to 250° F (121° C).

This means that the Bullet Pen can write on the grease stain of a piece of paper that is inside a pot of boiling water. While you may never need to do this, it's nice to know that you can. It's kind of like owning a Ferrari but never driving it 180 mph (because you don't want to die...or be a humongous douchebag).

Years of research yielded a pen that works nearly anywhere

The secret to the .375 Caliber Bullet Pen's ability to write in extreme conditions lies within its sealed pressurized ink cartridge.

There are three main distinctions between the ink refill used in the .375 Caliber Bullet Pen and standard ink refills:

  1. It's pressurized. The pressurized chamber forces ink out of the pen even in the weightless environment of space (or when working on a crossword while lying on the couch).
  2. Thixotropic, visco-elastic ink. Paul C. Fisher, inventor of the original Space Pen, was forced to create a new type of ink because existing inks, when pressurized, kept oozing out of the ball point.
  3. Tungsten-carbide ballpoint. The precision steel socket in the tip of the .375 Caliber Bullet Space Pen prevents leaks.

Pressurized ink capsule ensures constant ink flow even when held upside down.

Yes, we know what you're wondering: Does it fire a real bullet? No, the Bullet Pen is not a firearm. It's a pen. Albeit one of the most awesome pens we've ever seen.
