Overview

The Dual Pepperball combines the ease of one-handed grinding with the convenience of having both your salt and pepper grinder in one unit.

Simply squeeze the "rabbit ears" of the Dual Pepperball to grind and dispense. To switch between salt and pepper, twist the ears so the arrow on the top of the unit points to "S" or "P". Adjust the coarseness of the grind using the separate sliders on the bottom of the unit (one for salt and one for pepper).

The Dual Pepperball comes prefilled with fresh sea salt and peppercorns.

what if the pepperball gets to my house and the peppercorn/sea salt is bad?

That should never happen as the manufacturer gives the peppercorns and salt a 5-year shelf life. According to the manufacturer, neither one will "go bad" necessarily, but they could lose some flavor.

Will a bit of pepper come out when you are grinding the salt?

The Dual PepperBall will only dispense one, either salt or pepper, at a time. Each has a separate grinder.

No, the Dual PepperBall cannot grind both salt and pepper at the same time. You select between salt or pepper by twisting the handles and that is what it will grind and dispense.

I like fresh ground salt better than regular salt because it's powdery. But the problem with these grinders is when you put them down on the table or away in the cabinet a bit of salt of pepper is always left on the bottom.

Yes, that can happen with salt and pepper grinders. You could give the grinder a good shake when you are done grinding to try and knock off any salt or pepper that might be clinging to the bottom.

can I use Himalayan salt?

Himalayan salt will work in any of our grinders.

What happens if you are not carefull and put the salt in the pepper side and pepper on the salt side?

It won't really affect the grinder, but you can always switch them back.

Assuming I completely cleared out the pepper and salt of the dual pepperball, How can I know which side is which?

On the bottom there are two levers, one white and one black. The salt goes in the side with the white lever and the pepper goes in the side with the black lever.

In the video you keep saying sea salt. Can you use regular salt?

The manufacturer recommends using coarse sea salt. Other salts might have too much moisture/liquid in them, which could clog the grinder.

Would it work with himalayan pink salt?

We haven't tried it, but it should work just like any other salt.

No, you have to select either salt or pepper. It cannot dispense both simultaneously.
