Tops are some of the oldest toys known to man, so putting a new spin on them is no easy task. The PhoTOP brings the well-known whirligig into the modern era with perhaps the most modern thing of all...lasers!

The top's flat spinning disc shape is made with a photon-excited phosphorescent surface, which can be activated with the included laser pointer, allowing you to create glowing swirls, spirals, and other mesmerizing patterns as the toy spins.

Experiment with other light sources and techniques to make and watch as different designs develop!
