Step #1: Use the pump to fill your balloon
Attach a balloon to the end of the nozzle and fill it using the pump on the top of the unit.
Simply press the pump to fill your water bomb.
Step #2: Wind the balloon around the Tie-Not
Once your balloon is the desired size, flip the end around the Tie-Not Tying Tool.
Flip your balloon around the Tie-Not to initiate the tying process.
Step #3: String the end through the Tie-Not
Detach the end of the balloon from the nozzle and thread it through the end of the Tie-Not. It will rest in a notch on the underside of the tying tool. You're almost done making the balloon!
It's essential to thread the end of the balloon through the tip of the Tie-Not Tying Tool.
Final step: Pull the balloon off the Tie-Not
Simply tug the balloon off the Tie-Not Tying Tool and it will automatically tie itself. Amazing, right?

I think it would be fairly obvious what could possibly break your Battle Pump. As long as you aren't throwing it around, you shouldn't need to worry about it breaking.

When the Battle Pump first arrives the balloons are inside of it, but there isn't a dedicated ballon compartment or anything.

Are the balloons made out of any type of latex because my cousin is allergic?
The balloons are made of biodegradable latex, so you might want to avoid using them if you have an allergy to latex, but you can use any type of balloon you want.

Check to make sure all of the seals are in place inside the pump. It sounds like one of them might be loose.

A gallon of water isn't exactly light, but I think most people should be able to lift a full Battle Pump.

Any water balloon will work. I mean, you're just filling them with water, so it's not as if they'd be incompatible in any way.
Can you put paint in it, to make paint balloons?
Maybe. You'd have to clean it very thoroughly or the dried paint will clog the pump.
Does it garuntee a perfectly tied balloon everytime?
It may take a bit of practice at first, so your first few might not be perfect, but once you get the hang of it then you'll have a fairly consistent success ratio.
Can you fill it with seawater, or will this make some of the internal bits rust?
Seawater is fine. Just make sure to clean your Battle Pump to avoid any salty buildup.
What's the difference between this and the pumpinator??
Apart from being much larger than the Pumponator, the Battle Pump has a built-in balloon tying tool.

Let's do some math based on what information we've made available. On average, you can fill and tie 1 water balloon in about 10 seconds and you can fill 15-20 water balloons before needing to refill the Battle Pump. That means that you can fill 20 water balloons in about 3 minutes and 20 seconds if you really hustle. Let's round that down to 3 minutes because it will take time to refill the Battle pump each time it is emptied.
So in 3 minutes we can make 20 balloons. Over two hours you will make somewhere around 800 water balloons. This is an ideal number where you are able to go as fast as possible for the entire duration. Since that's unlikely, it might be closer to 700-750 water balloons.

Yes it does! Instead of displacing water the pump will simply be displacing air.

We can't make any sort of guarantee in that situation. We would recommend simply doing your best to not break it in the first place.

Generally speaking there is a big difference between regular balloons and water balloons. Regular balloons are a lot thicker than water balloons and therefore require a lot more effort to pop. This is not the case with the water balloons included with the Battle Pump.

Not at all. In fact, little kids are the target market!

The bottle isn't endless -- eventually it will run out of water and that usually happens after filling about 20 balloons. That doesn't mean it's the end of the product's life though.

Seven or eight pumps should get your balloon to where you want it. Chlorinated water will not damage your Battle Pump.
My battle pump tie tool won't work. I do exactly as shown in the video, but when I pull of the balloon, it unties and explodes water. What am I doing wrong?!
Make sure that you're not only tying the balloon correctly but also pulling it off exactly as shown in the video. If you're too slow, the water will shoot out of the balloon.

This product has been discontinued, so unfortunately there are no plans for any additional colors.
Will this work with party balloons?
Sure. I can't think of any reason why you couldn't. The only thing that would stop you is if the opening on the balloon was significantly larger than the nozzle.
Can I use this pump with salt water?
I'm not sure what (if any) sort of damage salt water would do to the seals in the long term, but there's no physical reason why you cannot use salt water.

If you have a big enough balloon, sure. Obviously you can't do it with the Battle Pump because the Battle Pump can't actually hold that much water, but you could do it with a hose and the Tie-Not.

It might if you don't secure it. Rolling around and bumping into things in your trunk might loosen the top or press on the pump.

It'd probably be the least effective way to spray paint. The paint would come out as a steady stream rather than a mist. Even worse, the paint would very quickly clog the nozzle if you don't clean it very thoroughly after every use.

I finished all the balloons that came with the pump, but when I tryed another water balloon brand the tool wouldn't tie. Do the balloons have to be biodegradable or with a thin rim for tying tool to work because I want water balloons for my fight.
We've tied larger party balloons with the tool end of the Battle Pump, so the type of balloon doesn't matter. As long as it's able to wrap around the tool it should still work.

Sure, but it might be a bit heavy and, well, incredibly messy.
