They seem like with all the small holes that they would break if they're accidentally bent.are they durable?
The card is solid plastic. The "holes" are created by how they're printed. They're incredibly durable. In fact, because they're made of plastic, they're considerably more durable than paper playing cards.
Is it waterproof? Can they brake? Is it actually a full deck of cards plus two jokers?
Yes, they're waterproof. No, they cannot be "broken" but they can be destroyed if you really wanted to. Yes, it is a full deck including the jokers.
Does this mean that if i hold it at the wrong angle my opponent will be able to see the suit of the card?
Can't the same be said about any playing card? No, under no circumstance will your opponent be able to tell which card you're holding by looking through it.
Will you PLEASE bring back Kadabra in this video!? Kadabra is so boss!
We'll just have to wait and see!
Do they bend easily, or are they made to bend a little bit? And do you see the brain on some cards, and the yellow teeth on others, or is it all in one?
Only the face cards feature additional colors (as we show on the product page). They're just as flexible as regular playing cards.
Will i have nightmares when i use these cards?
We sure hope not!
Hello vat19 I an terribly sorry if this has been asked before but what exactly would happen if i tried to wash them with soap and water would the color dull?
It's very possible. We can't imagine why you'd want to wash your playing cards though.
Are the cards water proof?
They're made of plastic, so yes? It's strange how many questions we receive asking if the various playing cards we carry are waterproof.
Are they durable enough to be used as throwing cards? With them being made of plastic?
Yes, they can be thrown just fine. We think that plastic cards are just as durable (or even more so) than paper cards.
You know how the face cards and jokers are different? Will the people you will be playing with see?
Nope! The design of the face cards is only printed on one side.
Can you do card tricks with them?
Sure. They are playing cards after all.
I think they should print them in more than one colour because printing them in the same colour makes them hard to play with. Why don't they do that?
Unless you're playing solitaire there really isn't any advantage to having different colors. Hearts and Diamonds are always "red", while Spades and Clubs are always "black".
Hey vat19 i was wondering what kind of case these, as well as the all black playing cards come in? is it just a normal case? No case at all? Or some fancy case?
The case for these cards is actually shown at the top of the page. It's made of translucent plastic with the same design as the cards. The Black Playing Cards are in a similar box as well.
If these cards are plastic, are they still easy to shuffle? Or are they slippery? I don't mind either way.
Not at all. They're just as easy to handle as any other playing card. Don't forget that traditional playing cards have a waxy feel to them already.
Are there red and black suits on the "X-ray Playing Cards" just like on a normal deck of playing cards?
The cards do not have different colors, but it's not really necessary either. The color of a suit is never an issue because diamonds and hearts are always red, while spades and clubs are always black.
Are they waterproof?
They're made of plastic, so water isn't going to hurt them.
Is the back of the jokers same as the other cards?
Yes. The backs of the cards are always the same. If they were different then you'd be able to tell what they are.
Is the case the cards come in water proof?
No it is not. It's folded just like a regular playing card box.
How easy are they to shuffle?
As easy as any other deck of cards. We wouldn't waste your time with a deck of cards that is MORE difficult to use than what you already have.
Is there a way to tell the difference between king of hearts, king of diamonds, king of clovers, and king of spades?
Sure. The suits are indicated in the corner of each card just like any other deck of cards.
do they fold and crease if yes ill be sad
Just like most other playing cards, the X-Ray cards will crease if you bend them.
Technical question time ! Do they have an air-cushion finish ?
Not exactly. The cards themselves are perforated with tiny holes which allows air to pass through and helps keep them stable when being dealt across the table.
Can you perform magic with this card?
Sure! Apart from their awesome design, they do not function any differently than any other playing cards.
Do the cards get heavily damaged when shuffled?
Of course not. We actually test all of the products that we carry and we would never carry playing cards that are more fragile or more difficult to use than normal playing cards.
Do the face cards look different from the back?
No. That would completely defeat the purpose of a playing card since your opponents could tell which card is which.
Hi vat19 team,
I wanted to ask what the music in your x ray playing cards video is called.
Like most of the music in our videos, it doesn't have a specific title or artist associated with it. Any music that we do not write ourselves usually comes from one of several royalty free music libraries that we subscribe to.
How good is this deck for doing magic tricks?
They're perfect. It just depends on how good of a musician you are.
What if someone sees through my card in a game ?
Unless they have x-ray vision that won't be a problem.
Do that come in a hard case?
The case which holds the cards is made of the same plastic material. It's not a hard case, but it's more than enough to keep your cards in good condition.
Are the skull cards Poker size or Bridge size?
They are Bridge size.
Can you use them to make a one handed fan easily?
Yes, they fan out just as easily as any other deck of cards.
It seems like the brain of the king, the eyes of the queen or the teeth of the jack would be visible to the other players because of the drastic change in color. Is that true?
No, that is not the case. The cards are not transparent; rather, they have hudnreds of tiny holes in an otherwise opaque piece of plastic which makes them appear to be transparent. This means that you cannot see what the card is on the other side.
Seen Sample Room Ep. 2. I heard "Rosetta Stone." That is a company helping to teach you a new language right?
That is correct. It gets its name from the actual Rosetta Stone which was influential in translating Ancient Egyptian.
How visible is the ink (for the numbers) on the cards?
Also, Does the ink fade?
No, the ink doesn't fade. They're perfectly visible to the person holding the cards.
Could I skallops these?
Of course!
Are they poker size cards?
Yes. They are the same size as any other deck of cards.
Would you send it to mexico? How much for the shipping?
Yes, we ship internationally. Click the "Calculate Shipping" link near the top of the page for shipping quotes.
Can you tear the cards easily either way I'm buying one
No, X-Ray Cards are not easily torn.
Would you be able to tell the differance of the colors? For example on a regular deck of cards the cards would either be red or black. Or does that give the cards their character? (Please excuse any misspellings )
Nope. The back sides of the cards are identical.
There is no way to differentiate black and red cards, right ?
No, but the color of a card doesn't really matter. Hearts and diamonds are always red; spades and clubs are always black.
They seem like with all the small holes that they would break if they're accidentally bent.are they durable?
Yes. They're neither brittle nor fragile, and bending ANY playing card effectively ruins it.
is vat19 is giving away a $500 gift card to random person if you hit 1,000,000 subscribers , and do you have to be a subscriber to your vat19 youtube channel to win
Don't you think that the video is a little inappropriate, especially since little kids watch the videos as well?
A censored butt is far from the most offensive thing on this site.
Are the cards transparent?
Semi-transparent, yes. Check out the photos above!
