A few customer questions we've answered

Q: why is this so expensive?
A: Now, we could just tell you that the Bulls Eye Pen costs what it does because that's what we have to charge to make a profit based on what WE bought it for. But that would imply that we agree it's not worth the price, which simply isn't true. This pen isn't just some average, disposable inkpen. In fact, it's not intended to be thrown away at all. Once you've used up all the ink, you can just stick in a refill and you're ready to go again. As refillable pens go, this one's actually pretty cheap. Depending on the brand and features, some can get up into the hundreds and thousands of dollars - And they don't even stand upright in Bulls Eye bases! Plus, this pen is made out of metal.

Q: Does it fly?
A: The Bulls Eye Dart Pen cannot fly in its stock configuration. You would need to purchase a rocket engine add-on from an after-market dart pen dealer. Unfortunately, we're not licensed as such.

Q: What type of replaceable ink cartridge does it use?
A: Any standard ink refill can be trimmed to fit the Bulls Eye Dart Pen.

Q: Is this a really sexy pen?
A: Of course it is!

Q: Can you really play darts with it?
A: Maybe, but we doubt it. The tip of the Bulls Eye Dart pen is no sharper than a normal ballpoint pen. You'd have to throw it really, really hard to drive it into a traditional dart board.

Q: Although your satirical response to it flying was amusing, it didn't answer what I literally want to know: does it glide like a tart, and stick in wood/anything when thrown?
A: While the Bulls-Eye dart pen does glide fairly smoothly, it's not likely to stick in most surfaces unless it's thrown with a great deal of force. It definitely won't stick in wood like a sharp-pointed dart.

Q: Is there any way to hang the base vertically on the wall near my desk so it has the appearance of a "real" target? (That would have the added advantage of not getting lost in desk clutter.)
A: Some strong double-sided foam mounting tape would probably be able to hold up the Bulls Eye Dart Pen. With the pen in the base, it weighs 7 ounces. There are not any holes on the bottom of the base for hanging with a nail.

Q: Can you brand the pens? Please price me for 2 colour print on 100, 200, 500 and 1,000 pens. Thanks, Emer
A: Vat19 does not offer branding services. You should be able to get this done by a third party, though.

Q: Is this the best projectile-shaped pen ever?
A: Absolutely!
