A: The Easy Quick Jumper is intended to charge a somewhat dead battery that does not have enough charge to start a car's engine. It is not intended to charge a completely dead battery, as it would overheat before a full charge would be accomplished. The Easy Quick Battery Jumper does not have a cooling fan, so it can only operate for 10-15 minutes before overheating. Charging a low battery enough to get the engine started should take about 5-7 minutes.
