We're Star Wars fans, but we're not fanatics. We like the movies and think the characters are cool, but you probably won't find us at any one of the hundreds (yes, hundreds!) of Star Wars conventions held each year.

Question: Will this Star Wars USB Flash Drive work on my computer?

Answer: Yes. If your computer has USB ports, you're good to go. If you have USB 2.0 ports, it will run even faster. However, it is still compatible with any USB port.

Question: What if I don't want the digital goodies that come with the drive?

Answer: You can easily delete those files if you don't want them.

Question: Does it come with a carrying case?

Answer: Only Han Solo comes with a carrying case. In his case, it's Carbonite! Otherwise, the Keychain Case must be ordered separately.

Question: How do I request a particular style of Stormtrooper?

Answer: Sorry, but that's not possible. We don't even know if it's Luke or Han pulling off the Stormtrooper masquerade. It's essentially a toss-up as to which one you'll get. Hey, that's half the fun!

How come Darth Vader's sound effects don't actually have any quotes from Darth Vader (Yoda and the Emperor instead)?

The sound bytes on our product page for the Star Wars USB Flash Drives are only samples. In fact, each character is preloaded with about 20 different sound bytes. Some of the bytes are said by the character, and others are said by others about the character.

Is the are they made out of plastic or mettle?

The housings are plastic.

I noticed on the Darth Vader USB drive that when it's open it has a different face. What's up?

This is Darth Vader Unmasked. The face you see is Darth Vader's actual, scarred face. Most of the Darth Vader USB Flash Drives have the "healthier", prequel-era face. But one in six of then will have the paler, sickly version seen in Return of the Jedi.

May I ask How many GBs are there in one

Each Star Wars USB Flash Drive has a capacity of 4GB.

will you make a Jabba the Hut and the Emperor USB ports?

We don't have plans for either at this time, but maybe someday.

Will you be having plans for the prequel characters, like Jar Jar Binks or Darth Maul anytime soon?

Sorry, but we do not plan on carrying any of the prequel characters at this time.

What is the screensaver like I really want to know

are the covers for the flash drives waterproof

No, they are not.

Does the han solo make noise when plugged in

No. Only R2-D2, C3P0, Darth Vader, Wicket, and the Storm Trooper have sounds.

How many GB is the R2-D2 and what kind of computer do you use to make the videos i'm guesing a MAC.

All of the Star Wars and USB Drives are 8GB. Yes, we use Macs.

Can it work on my Xbox 360? And an other question is will it give me a gamer picture/background theme?

The XBox 360 will format the flash drive so that it can create its own partition (if you plan on using it for storing game files). I *think* you can still use your own images for the Dashboard's background, but I can't guarantee that it will work with this particular product.

How much space does it hold?

Each Star Wars Flash Drive can hold 8GB of information.

Can I get Han without the case?

Sorry, but the case is part of the set. Why wouldn't you want the awesome carbonite case?

Why can't i find any information about the type of USB drive used? Is it reliable?

Yes, the Star Wars Mimobots contain a high-speed 2.0 USB drive.

Could I use the avatars for my Facebook account?

Only if you want a totally rad Facebook profile!

Why don't you sell the brown and gray coats anymore?

The manufacturer discontinued the included protectors and now only have black available (sold separately). Sorry!

does it plays the sound when you put it in the computer or laptop directly or these sounds just tell how they talk in star wars movie?

The sound clips will play each time the USB drive is inserted or ejected from your computer or laptop.

can you choose which color of hoodie you want?

No, the hoodies are currently only available in black.

can you configurate which sound you want when inserted and ejected?

No, the audio bytes are random.

Is Boba Fett a good guy?

Boba Fett is a mercenary and bounty hunter, so he doesn't really have a side. Though he did spend a good portion of his career working with the Empire, he did eventually lend a hand to the New Republic during the Yuuzhan Vong invasion.

Will it work on iMac?

Our Star Wars USB Flash Drives will work on PCs as well as Macs.

What would happen if you ordered two of the stormtoopers and you get two of the same one.

That's just the risk you'll have to take, I'm afraid. We have no way of knowing if it will be Luke or Han.

Can you stop them from making the sounds?

Yes, the sounds can be disabled or removed entirely.

Why does only Vader have a suprise?

Ultimately it was a decision of the manufacturer, but the reveal of Darth Vader's face in "Return of the Jedi" was truly surprising for audiences!

On a scale of 1 to 10, how nerd is the MIMOBOT Star Wars USB ?

Um, I'm going to give it an 8, but it's not straight up nerd. It's nerd AWESOME.

Will the u.s.b work on the xbox 360 as storage?

If you want to save stored games, it will only if you format the flash drive properly. Your 360 will provide this option under the memory settings. Otherwise you can use it as is.

Will the extras on each flashdrive take up any space?

Of course, but you can always take them off of the flashdrive and put them on your computer.

can you ask for Luke or Han when you order the storm-trooper, or do you just have to keep buying until you get the one you want?

I'm afraid not. You'll randomly receive either Luke or Han Solo.

can you put your own sound effects onto the flash drive when it is plugged in

No, the flash drives do not have a function that allows you to specify audio bytes.

Why Wicket instead of Yoda? Also, it seems like Han Solo and Boba Fett would also sell well.

There is always a possibility for more Star Wars characters, but we have no immediate plans to add them.

Very little, but you can always delete them from the drive if you do not want them.

Can the audio clips from these star wars usb.... things be transfered to a cell phone to make a cool ringtone?

Unfortunately, no. Due to licensing issues, the sound bytes are only authorized to be used on the Mimobot.

Will it work for Linux?

While I cannot speak for the software on the drives, the drives themselves are universally compatible with any operating system that supports USB.

Are you going to have more characters in the future?

It's certainly possible, however there are no plans for more Star Wars characters at this time.

You should consider getting a Yoda or Obi-Wan Kenobi flash drive.

Oops, sorry for the confusion; they're the same thing. We also refer to the keychain cases as "hoodies" for the USB drives.

Can I use this to store all the Star Wars movies?

They'd have to be compressed to the point of near unwatchability unless you put each movie on a separate drive.

In the video it sorta implies that you get the keychain case when you buy the usb but on the website it says you can buy it seperetly, does it come with the keychain case?

Who's Darth Vader?

You're... You're joking, right? Darth Vader, one of the most famous movie villains of all time, was the fallen Jedi who served as the right hand and enforcer to the evil Emperor in Star Wars.

Will you guys think about a Darth Maul or Yoda flash drive? I'm sure they would sell well.

We have a Batman series now! Technically, they're DC Comics characters, but they do have their own movies.

why is 48b ham solo's case like that (i dont really watch STAR WARS even though i am a fan)

It's a replica of the carbonite block that Han was frozen in at the end of "The Empire Strikes Back" when he was taken to Jabba's palace by Boba Fett.

Will you make a droid version?

We already have the two most iconic droids in the Star Wars universe.

Will it work with Windows 7?

The Star Wars USB Flash Drives are compatible with Windows 7 as well as any Mac platform.
