Do you like to read? Personally, I'm not a big reader of books; which probably explains why I need three people to proof-read every page on our site. Side note: I've recently been working on slipping more semi-colons into our web pages. I hope I used it properly three sentences ago.

OK, on to the sales pitch: From what I've read, crazy people waste precious hours (that could be spent sleeping) reading books. If you're one of those people or you know someone who is, I'm sure these lunatics would love to be able to read while in dark cars, bedrooms, or airplanes. And that's what the LightWedge Book Light allows you to do. It uses two LED lights and an acrylic lens to confine the light to the pages of your book. The LightWedge Reading Light is small and lightweight, so it won't be cumbersome to use.

In the photo below, the only light present is generated by the LightWedge book light. As you can see, hardly any light spills out from beyond the confines of the book.

Q: Would the hardback version work for magazines? My husband reads lots of magazines at night.
A: The LightWedge probably woudln't be the exact size of the magazine, but it's fairly large and it wouldn't be particularly difficult to move it slightly to illuminate different parts of the page.

Q: Will this light work for the Kindle? If so, would the hardcover be the one to order?
A: We have never used the LightWedge LED Book Light with the Kindle electronic book reader. However, the LightWedge Harback's dimensions appear to be better suited to a standard Kindle reader.

Q: Is the plastic easy to break?
A: The plastic 'wedge' of the LightWedge LED Book Light would be extremely difficult to break. It's similar in strength to Lexan.

Q: do they have it with magnifying abilities?
A: We're not aware of a magnifying version of the LightWedge Book Light.

Q: Will the hardcover LightWedge work with a paperback?
A: While it's not ideal, either size could be used with any size of book.

Q: Does the original wedge have two light settings?
A: No, the LightWedge LED Book Light has one light setting.

Q: If you was going to puchase just one of the reading lights which would it be paper or hard? I read alot of both and alot of different size books.
A: We would recommend getting a larger model if you only wish to purchase one. A larger LightWedge will fully cover both sizes, but a smaller one would need to be moved around the page to fully illuminate bigger books.

Q: Do both sizes come with the softside case? Thanks!
A: Yes, both sizes of the LightWedge Reading Light come with soft protective cases.

Q: Do you plan to offer a plug in version, or a version that has rechargable batteries?
A: At this time, there are no plans to carry such a product.

Q: are there any retail sellers in western canada , or more precice in alberta?
A: We don't know of any physical store in Canada that sells the LightWedge. Vat19 ships to Canada, so you can order one right here on our website.

Q: Do you have to lift it up and relocate it whenever you move onto a different page?
A: Yes, unless it was just the one page that you wanted illuminated.

Q: Are the dimensions you give of the lens or the entire device?
A: The dimensions given for the LightWedge LED Book Light are for the entire device.

Q: is this product sold at Barnes and Noble or any other book stores?
A: Because we are not the manufacturers of the LightWedge Book Light, we can't be certain of where else it is distributed.
