The Mini Tape Gun looks and performs exactly like its normal-sized counterpart. However, the Mini Tape Gun is designed for your average clear household tape. With the Mini Tape Gun, you can dispense and cut tape with one hand which makes wrapping presents a breeze. It's also a ton of fun to use and frankly, it just looks cool.

One roll of clear, 3/4" wide tape is included. Available in multiple colors.

Yes, we think kids 5 and old could use the Mini Tape Gun. It is not recommended for children under 3. We do not sell replacement tape, but you can find tape at office supply stores and mass merchants like Wal-Mart and Target.

What else can you use it for other than wrapping presents with it?

Putting up signs, repairing a document, and reenacting the tape-face scene from Pee Wee's Playhouse.

would the box fit inside a prank packs box?

Yes, the Mini Tape Gun will fit inside the Prank Packs.

what is the piece of clear thingy on the top of the tape gun, and what is it supposed to do?

It is to protect you from the teeth that cut the tape and it also helps keep the tape in line for cutting. And full-size tape guns have it, so the Mini Tape Gun needed to have it!

Our warehouse. You can buy tape guns from most office supply stores.

i used to have one of these but it broke when i dropped it, so how do i know im getting my monies worth?

All I can tell you is that we haven't had any issues with the Mini Tape Guns that we've used in our photos and video. We also haven't had any reported issues from our customers. They're not completely unbreakable, but they get the job done.

Will the tape gun fit rolls of tape sold outside of the US (metric dimensions), or is the gun only usable with tapes manufactured for the US market?

The manufacturer has never heard of a roll that wouldn't fit. A standard roll of tape (1-inch diameter of opening) will fit.

could you use a small roll of double sided tape? ps: ur awesome!

I think double-sided tape might jam the gun, but it's worth trying.

Where can you get another roll of the tape?

Almost any office store should carry tape.

isn't a small part of the scotch tape left sort of hanging outside the mini tape gun? won't it collect dust/stop being sticky?

Yes, there is a small section of tape exposed. I have one on my desk and the tape does not collect dust, but it could depending on the environment. You could also fold the tape down towards the handle; you'll be able to easily pull it of and cut more tape.

Do the mini duck tape rolls fit on it

If they're the same size as a roll of Scotch tape, yes.

What's the plastic screen at the front of the dispenser for? Does it work like how iron sights work on a gun?

Not exactly. Just like a full-size tape gun, the plastic screen flattens the tape as the cutter cuts it.

Is the tape double-sided?

The tape included is standard scotch tape and is not double-sided.

how do I know the serrated cutter is dangerous or not?

We tested it by running our finger over it (as you'll see in the video), and we did not get cut or even scratched. The cutter on the Mini Tape Gun is similar to one you'd find on any standard tape you'd purchase at the store.

How many rolls of tape does it come in ? If one, where can you get more ?

The Mini Tape Gun Dispenser comes with 1 roll of tape. You can buy more at any office store.

if it runs out of tape, can we replace it

Yes.

Approximately 3 ounces, so not very much at all.

The Mini Tape Gun is not nearly as temperamental as it's larger counterpart.

What is that white roll in the middle of the roll of tape ? Can you remove and replace it on a new roll of tape ?

That's the spool that the tape is attached to. Yes, the tape is replaceable.

Do you sell any other color besides blue, cyan, green, and purple ?

I'm afraid that those are the only colors we carry at this time.

We do but think of this as being more like jumbo shrimp.

It's made of plastic right? How easily does it break/does it have any pieces sticking off of the main body that could potentially break off (easily)?

Yes, the Mini Tape Gun is plastic. We think this little guy is quite sturdy and did not have any problems during our tests. The only piece that sticks out is the clear part above the serrated cutter, but it is securely attached and should not break during normal use.

would this fit inside the mini shopping cart?

Sitting up, yes.

the clear plastic piece on the top of the tape gun is suppose to be flexible. is it flexible on the mini tape gun?
