A: Most USB ports on TVs are designed to display pictures from your flash drive, not video content. But if you have a DVD player, you can use it to play the Ambient Art DVD.

A: Our DVDs are region free which means they'll play in any DVD player regardless of its region encoding. We've sold many copies of our DVDs to the UK without incident.

A: This sounds pretty cool, but there are no built-in functions to the Ambient Art DVD that will allow you to do this.

Q: The new E series televisions from Sony have a USB key to show HD Art. Can I download the contents of the DVD onto a USB key and display it on the TV?
A: The complete Ambient Art DVD cannot be downloaded, however, there are wallpapers included on the DVD-ROM portion of the Ambient Art DVD. We haven't tested this, but we believe that you could put the DVD into your computer and download the wallpapers from the DVD-ROM portion of the disc onto a USB flash drive. It won't have the same functionality as the DVD, but you might be able to get some of the beautiful paintings on your TV without using a DVD player.

A: If you have a DVD player on your computer, then you should be able to view Ambient Art. It will also play using Vista's Windows Media Player.

A: If you want to select a certain painting or artist, you can easily create your own playlist within the Ambient Art DVD. You cannot add your own images to the disc.

Q: If I want to display a painting on my TV for an evening, will it "burn" into my screen?
A: No, the Ambient Art DVD will not cause burn-in if the same image is displayed for one evening. It would take much longer than that to cause any problems. Additionally, newer plasma TVs (those manufactured in the last several years) do not have the severe burn-in problem that earlier, first generation plasmas experienced.
