Q: Why is it that the mini-sky umbrella is 11" while this is 12" long when closed? And also why is it that this umbrella so much cheaper than the mini-sky?
A: These two umbrellas are made by different manufacturers, which is why the size and price are different. Also, the Mini Sky Umbrella has a design underneath, whereas the Monet Umbrella does not.

Q: I watched the video, but it doesn't show how easy/hard it is to get the umbrella down to its 12" size. Could you tell me the exact process needed to do this?
A: When the Monet Automatic Umbrella is fully extended, simply press the auto-open-auto-close button to collapse the canopy. You then simply push the top part of the umbrella toward the handle until you hear a click. This action completes the closing of the umbrella and compresses the spring which will then allow you to re-open the canopy with the press of the button. It's very easy to do and doesn't require too much strength.
