As long as the cards are facing you, they're fully legible to the naked eye (even if they don't catch the light). But from a steep angle (such as from the viewpoint of your scoundrel playing partners), they're like a black hole. So, they look great AND they prevent cheating. Double win!

Are these cards made out of cardstock?
No, they're plastic.
Are the cards water-resistant?
They're made of thin plastic so they're definitely water resistant.
When you say made out of plastic, do you mean plastic coated like Bicycles, or fully plastic
Fully plastic, however they're exactly as flexible and the same weight as regular playing cards.
You say that the cards are invisible for my cheating friends, so how are they supposed to see them when I place them on the table, which is required for many card games like poker?
If there is overhead lighting in the room, they won't be hard for others to see when placed face up on the table.
Are the cards washable?
They're made of plastic, so yes they are.
Are these waterproof?
No, they are not waterproof. I still don't understand why there seems to be such a high demand for waterproof playing cards. Are people playing "Go Fish" while literally fishing?

What kind of light do you need for them?
Any kind of light will suffice.
How do you know if they are black or red color?
It doesn't matter since a card's color is never an important issue. Hearts and diamonds are always red; spades and clubs are always black.
Why does the jack card have large breasts? I thought jack was a boy.
He is, and they're not breasts. They're large pectoral muscles like 1980s Arnold Schwarzenegger.

How long will these cards hold up with constant use?
Every bit as well as standard playing cards.
How does the cards feel like in hand?
Very similar to regular playing cards.

Is the box durable? Will I have to worry about accidentally ripping it?
No, you will not have to worry about that. We don't like having to give out a bunch of refunds and replacements for damaged items, so we do everything we can to make sure that the contents of your order are well protected.
This is awesome and all, but isnt scrambling this up extremely difficult, but does it just scramble as a normal deck?
I'm not sure how the color will make shuffling the cards any more difficult. Our Black Playing Cards are just as easy to shuffle as any other playing card.

How do you tell if they are red or black?
You don't need to. Apart from Solitaire there aren't very many games where the color matters, but even if color does matter you already know that hearts and diamonds are always red.
You say they are water proof. But does that mean if I played an entire game underwater they would still be useable or if something spilled on it it would still be useable. And what about certain drinks like pop or juice?
As we've stated before, the cards are made of plastic. This means that they are completely resistant to water.
I want to use these cards and play with my friends, but my friends don't have perfect 20/20 vision but don't wear glasses as often. Do you think the cards will affect them in a way without their glasses?
No. If you're looking right at them they're clear as day. It's only when you try to catch a glimpse of them at an angle or from a distance (as you would when trying to cheat) do they become difficult to read.
I've had other plastic cards & over time they've chipped (corners & whatnot)--do these cards chip as well with time & use?
No. They feel exactly like regular playing cards, which means they are not so rigid that you can crack or chip them.
Is it waterproof?
The Black Playing Cards are made of plastic, not paper, which means that they will never tear or get soggy.
Why do they have to be black?
It's a lot easier on your eyes than white. Not only that, but it just looks cooler.

Will these be good for cardistry?
Sure. The Black Playing Cards are functionally identical to any other set of playing cards. The ONLY difference is the all-black design.
Wouldn't the dark black on black make it really hard to read the cards especially if there's dim light?
No. I tested these cards in both bright and dim lighting and, as long as they're in front of you, they're very easy to read.
Are they waterproof?
No they are not, nor they really need to be.

They're actually black. Very, very black.

They might help add a certain level of style, but they're no substitute for constant practice.
If the cards fold, will it be permanent?
If you bend them all the way, yes, it would permanently damage the card. This is the case with regular playing cards as well, so it's not too unusual.

They do!

Yes. As long as as you're not playing in near total darkness the cards are plenty easy to read.
Will fingerprints be left on the card after we using it?
I don't think fingerprints would be any more noticeable on these cards than regular playing cards. You aren't planning on using them to commit a crime, are you?

They're made of plastic, so if anything they're more durable.

No, doing that will damage the card.

The cards are made of PVC plastic. They're durable enough to be used in a card game, but folding them will cause them to bend like any other card.

I don't think anyone would consider a wire frame depiction of the female form to be "porn". Porn is a graphic depiction of sex that is generally considered to be without artistic or cultural merit. No mature person would say that the basic female form, nude or otherwise, fits that description.
Do these ridge-shuffle better than paper cards?
I would say that they shuffle pretty much the same as any other deck of cards. Despite being made of plastic they handle just like traditional playing cards.

In terms of quality, are these cards equally the same as bicycle cards?
Let me put it this way: we wouldn't risk our reputation on any product that was not up to par. Because they're made of plastic, these Black Playing Cards will likely outlast any traditional playing card.
what do you guys think is better for a 12 year old kid .Cause I'm thinking about getting these or big playing cards which is better?
I don't think age has anything to do with which deck would work out best for you. Just go with the style you prefer the most!
How do you differentiate between black and red cards as they are in other normal decks?
I can't think of any game where the color of the card is necessary to know. Everyone knows that diamonds and hearts are red, whereas clubs and spades are black.
Is it harder to see at times?
Yes, in any direction that isn't straight on, which is definitely a good thing if you suspect the other players might be dishonest enough to look at your cards.

Does the Queen have content that could be considered inappropriate for a younger audience?(Does the Queen show some form of nudity)
Nope. You can see the Queen card for yourself at about 9 seconds into the video. Since it's just a wire frame silhouette of the female form, we'd be hard pressed to find anything offensive about it.
Are these cards available in other colors (blue, white, red, green, purple, golden, etc)? It would be more awesome if you can have more than one deck of different colors...

All orders are insured against loss. Our shipping insurance will cover any order that does not arrive within 45 business days. Lost packages are incredibly rare, so it's not something that most people will ever need to worry about.
How good do these cards spread and are they good for magic?

My friend has it and he told me to bend it so I did, and when I did it just went back to normal, so I kept bending it even more and it just went back to normal but you said it won't really go back?
There's a difference between bending and folding. If you bend the card to the point that it folds, the crease will be permanent. Even if you don't bend it that much it will still cause the card to develop a curve. Truthfully, it's not any different than the behavior of regular playing cards.
Are they good for card tricks?
We can't think of any reason why they wouldn't be unless you need the cards to be highly visible from a distance.
Are these Bridge or Poker Size Cards?
Poker.
Since the cards have a glossy finish, Does it attract finger prints?
Only the design on the card is glossy. They're not particularly prone to fingerprints.
How are the cards in terms of flexibility for people that like to also do flourishes?
They're just as flexible as standard playing cards. The only difference is that these are made of plastic whereas traditional cards are made of glossy, high-quality paper.
Since there plastic if you bend them to much will they snap and break??
They're not that rigid. Bending any type of playing card, paper or plastic, will ruin it.
Do these prevent long-necking? (longnecking being cheating by looking at another players card.)
Unless you're looking right at the card, it is very difficult to determine what it is. If you play with people you suspect are cheating, find new people to play with.
How do we see the type of card? E.g king?
With your eyes, of course! It's very easy to tell which card is which when you're actually looking at them.
Can the holder see the cards easily
Yes, it's easy to see the suit and value of the card when you're holding them.
Is it waterproof?
Unfortunately, these are not waterproof.
Can you rip the jokers? I usually do that.
The cards are plastic, so tearing them might be difficult.
how can you tell which is red and which is black?
You don't need to. The color of a suit never matters, but even when it does the colors remain the same (Hearts & Diamonds = Red, Spades & Clubs = Black).

How about the box from the cards, the black one in second to last picture. Is it like a carrying case, or is it just a one time use packaging. Not the standard shipping box.
The cards come in a nice box just like any other playing cards. They're not loose in the shipping container.
If the card were to be placed on a flat surface in the middle of a group that everyone is playing in, would everyone playing be able to read the card easily?
It depends on the lighting in the room, but we haven't had any issues seeing the cards while playing in our offices.

Yes, the two Joker cards are exactly the same.

Yes. This is typical of nearly all playing cards.

They're not fireproof at all. To be honest, we can't think of any situation where you'd need to have fireproof playing cards.

Not very well. I can't imagine any normal circumstance where that would be something you'd have to worry about.

On a standard deck of cards there is a black and red kind of card. For example the red queen of hearts. Does this deck f cards have two colors like that

They feel just like a regular deck of playing cards, except they're made of plastic. They're not smooth and actually have a bit of texture to them.
If you have to shuffle the deck and some cards are upside down, will you be able to tell which ones are, or ist that a bit harder to see?
These cards are only difficult to see if you're looking at them from an angle from across a table or something. If they're in your hands you will have no problem making out which side is which.

Absolutely. Unless you're in complete darkness, there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to see the front of the cards.
Are the cards air cushioned?
They won't stick together or onto the table, if that's what you're asking. They behave exactly like normal playing cards.

Neither these nor our Giant Playing Cards turn white.

Why would you need to? Diamonds and hearts are always "red", and aces and spades are always "black".
How are they more cheat proof than regular cards?
Because unless you're looking straight at them it's almost impossible to determine which card is which. Viewed from an angle, the cards appear to be completely blank.
Are these any good in low-lighting?
Honestly, anything is hard to read in low light.
Why are the jokers the same?
They usually are. There are only two jokers in a deck of cards and they aren't assigned to a particular suit.

You can play any game you like, even those that would otherwise require color, because the suits are always either red (hearts, diamonds) or black (spades, clubs).

I would assume that would be a problem with any deck of cards regardless of their color. Maybe you can ask your friends to clean their filthy hands before rubbing their grimy mitts all over your stuff?

Nope. She's obviously female but it's not as if she's naked. These aren't like those novelty cards your dad has hidden in his nightstand.

Black on black. The designs are glossy while the cards themselves are matte.

No, static electricity is not an issue.

Do you need to play these in a well lit area?
It doesn't have to be directly under a spotlight, but you need at least enough light to be able to see the cards.

The $5.49 flat rate shipping fee covers everything, no matter how many items you order. We only collect sales tax on orders that ship within the state of Missouri.
How can u tell the difference between something like a red king and a black king?
Diamonds and hearts are always red. Clubs and spades are always black. With that in mind, I can't think of too many games where the color matters.

You'd have to be in more or less complete darkness for that to be an issue, in which case any type of playing card would be difficult to see. I was able to easily make out which card is which both in bright and dim light.

What are the colours for the suits?
This deck does not have colors, but card suits always have the same color scheme: Hearts/Diamonds = Red, Spades/Clubs = Black.

Are they exactly like Bicycles Deck?
In terms of design they couldn't be any more UNLIKE a typical deck of cards. They're black, made of plastic, and have unique and original artwork.
What if a kid somehow ate it ,will he die?
Only if they manage to choke on it or something. These are plastic playing cards and as such aren't really prone to being accidentally eaten, as eating them would require a considerable amount of effort.
Will these cards crease from the mtg card bend test
We're not really sure what those conditions are, but they're every bit as sturdy as common playing cards.
I have a REALLY burning question. I want to buy these for my dad on his birthday, as he is an avid Hold Em player. I mean VERY avid. I mean so avid he plays games with Jamie Gold regularly. So are they MultiMillionaire Player Approved?

No. The box they are packaged in is very similar to the sort of box other cards come in.

The cards are plastic but everything else, from the way they feel to the way they shuffle, is exactly the same. The biggest difference, obviously, is the color.
Will they be available in king size in the near future?
Maybe someday, but for now there are no plans to carry a gigantic version.

Is there a difference between the 2 jokers to distinguish them for games that use a "Big/High" Joker and a "Little/Low" one? maybe like Spades using them or another card game?
The joker cards are identical. This isn't really that unusual, as the joker cards from Bicycle playing cards are the same as well.

would these be good for Magicians? I think the black on black would be hard to see for a spectator but i haven't saw them in person
I think that would depend on the trick as well as the skill and preference of the magician.
If I bent the cards slighty, like a poker hold, would the cards bend like paper cards, or would it stay flat? I'm talking about a small palm bend.
They would flatten back out once you let go.
What ink is the black written in?
It's not. The visible parts of card are simply shinier parts of the plastic.
