In King Chomper's kingdom, chess is for all ages! Story Time Chess uses a fun story book, fictional characters cutouts, and a colorful chess board to give the timeless game a fantastical twist.
The booklet tells a tale from Chesslandia, and each chapter explains the rules of a chess piece by tying their character into the story. You’ll learn that King Chomper can only move one space at a time because his pockets are so full of food! And that the pawns are the King's children locked in a foot race. Each chapter is concluded with mini games specific to each piece so kids can practice what they just learned.
Even if you're already confident in your chess game, you'll have a laugh playing with the fun characters and colorful board. And if you're looking for a more serious game, flip the board over to the non-story-themed side and remove the cardboard characters to engage in a classic game of chess.
