A: The rubber tops of the Pot Clip are very heat resistant and can withstand temperatures up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit.

Q: Are the 'feet' made of rubber too? I have Teflon coated pans, would it scratch my pans?
A: Yes, the "feet" that clasp onto your pots and pans are made of rubber, so it should not scratch Teflon or any other surface.

Q: How large is the spoon opening? Some of my spoons have really thick handles so I wanted to make sure they would actually fit in this.
A: The circular part of the opening is 3/4" in diameter. The smaller opening, what you would use to slide the spoon in, is 1/2". Most spoons with thicker handles taper down towards the spoon, so they should fit just fine.

Q: I know it can handle the heat, but what about direct flame (e.g. Gas burner)? If the pot is knocked or what ever and the flame goes up the side of the pot, will the rubber melt, or still be resistant?
A: No, the rubber on the Utensil Pot Clip is not flame-resistant. If it came in direct contact with an open flame, it would definitely melt to some degree.

Q: My cooking pans have a rim at the top edge. Will the clips fit onto that?
A: It depends on the thickness of the rim. The Utensil Pot Clip opens to a little over 1/4". So, if the rim is thicker than that, it may be tough to get the pot clip on.
