Charge your cellphone while reducing clutter

The Socket Pocket's clever design replaces your existing outlet faceplate with one that integrates a plastic "pocket" for housing your cell phone next to the outlet while it charges.

If you're thinking, "Woah, hold your horses, cowboy. Did you say that this thing replaces my existing outlet faceplate? I'm not an electrician, so I'm not sure I can do this." Relax. You don't even have to flip a circuit breaker to install the Socket Pocket. All you need is a screwdriver to remove your existing faceplate and install the Socket Pocket. Installation will take less than a minute, especially if you keep a screwdriver on your keychain. And it'll be worth it! You'll have a perfect spot for storing your cell phone -- right next to your charger!

You can choose to store excess cable either underneath or inside the Socket Pocket with the included twist tie.

The Socket Pocket Cell Phone Charger Holder keeps your phone and its cable organized.
The Socket Pocket stores your cell phone in the most convenient spot possible: next to the charging outlet!

Thoughtful design ensures compatibility with all sizes of phones

The designers of the Socket Pocket Cell Phone Organizer created a product that's simple, elegant, and compatible with nearly any cellphone.

  • The Socket Pocket's "pocket" is large enough to handle the smartest of smart phones (the smarter the phone, the bigger its brain, right?).
  • The floor of the pocket is both slotted and hinged. This makes it easy to thread nearly any diameter cord into the pocket.
  • There is an opening on the side of the Socket Pocket for easy access to side charging devices.
  • A slotted lip on each side of the Socket Pocket can be used to "park" the end of the cord when not charging.

The Socket Pocket Cell Phone Organizer has plenty of room to store your smart phone and its charging cord.

Conveniently store other items like pens, glasses, and scissors

You don't have to store your cellphone in the Socket Pocket Outlet Organizer. Put one in your kitchen, office, or bedroom to house other commonly used items like pens, pencils, scissors, jumbo paper clips, USB flash drives, and invisible playing cards. Yes, that was three shameless cross-promos in a row. Hey, we've got kids to feed, too!

Socket Pocket Cellphone organizer can also store pens, pencils, sunglasses, scissors and other common items.
You can also use the Socket Pocket Outlet Organizer to store common household items.

Available in standard duplex and GFCI configurations

In most houses, you have two types of outlets: standard duplex and GFCI. GFCI outlets have two small buttons between the receptacles, and are typically found in kitchens and bathrooms.

A standard duplex outlet normally has a screw between the two outlets.

Standard "duplex" outlets typically
feature rounded receptacles.
GFCI outlets typically feature
a square shape and a pair of
buttons between the receptacles.

Burning Questions: You Ask and We Answer

Burning Questions: You ask and we answer!
Your questions that have been answered by the Vat19.com staff:
Is it interchangeable so the pocket is on the right side of the socket?
No, the pocket will always be on the left.
Wow this product rocks! I bought one and I LOVE it! I am now super organized. Does it only come in white?
We currently only offer the Socket Pocket in white.
I'm confused, is the Socket Pocket attached to the charges (outlets)? And how is it attached to the wall and outlets (if it is)?
The Socket Pocket is actually an entirely new plate for the outlet, so you would need to remove your old one (which is very simple and easy).
What if the socket is sideways - landscape?
Hmm, then I think you're out of luck. The pocket is molded to the socket cover and cannot be turned.
Will a notepad phone fit?
If it's larger than the dimensions shown at the top of the page, no.
After putting the Socket Pocket on your wall is it permanent?
It is permanent in the sense that it cannot be easily removed, but all you would need to do is remove the faceplate to take it off.
Does it work with ipods?
Yes, an iPod will fit in the Socket Pocket.
What's the difference between these two outlet styles that would require different versions?
Standard outlets just have the two outlets. GFCI outlets are a slightly different shape and have the Test and Reset buttons between the outlets.
Can you charge your i-Pod touch with it?
The Socket Pocket is large enough to accommodate the iPod touch. However, please note that the Socket Pocket is not an actual charger. It simply cradles your device while it is charging. The charging cord of your iPod touch comes out the bottom of the Socket Pocket and plugs into the outlet.
Do they make this for a double gfci outlet? Where we want to place it, it's wired with a double gfci so a single will not work.
Unfortunately no, the Socket Pocket is only available in the styles you see here.
how does it attach to the wall?
Remove the existing faceplate from the wall outlet and replace it with the Socket Pocket faceplate. The charging pocket is attached to the faceplate.
Whats the differince between the both?
If you look closely at the photos, you'll see that the difference is the shape of the outlet.
Is this available in other colors besides white? Putty, Ivory, or similar?
Currently the Socket Pocket is only available in white.
If I lost the bottom can I possibly buy a bottom?
I'm sorry, but we do not sell the individual pieces.
do you have to keep the socket pocket next to the outlet
Yes, the pocket is part of the outlet faceplate and cannot be detached.
Aren't GFCI outlets basically standard now?
Perhaps in new homes and buildings, but there are literally millions of homes and businesses that do not have new outlets.
Will you ever make more colors? Why does it only come in white?
There are no plans for more colors, but if the white color is totally unacceptable you could spray paint it a different color.
Does it work for Samsung?
The Socket Pocket will work with any phone as long as it isn't bigger than the pocket itself.
Do you make one with the pocket on the other side?
We do not. Sorry!
Can this hold an iPod Touch?
Without a doubt!
this curiously awesome product totally deserves a a curiously awesome video ASAP!
We don't have one planned, but it's possible that it will get a video someday.
Why isn't there a video for this freakin' sweet product? and will you marry me :3
Maybe if you'd ask me to marry you before you asked about a Socket Pocket video, I would. Unfortunately, I cannot marry you and there are currently no plans for a Socket Pocket video.
What is the difference with both of them?
The important difference is the shape of your outlets. If you click on the two images at the top of the page you'll see what I'm talking about.
Will a PS Vita fit in the Socket Pocket?
A PS Vita is far too large to fit in the Socket Pocket.
Can we remove the Socket Pocket like when your traveling?
The Socket Pocket is attached to the wall plate. There isn't any way to remove it.
Can a Nintendo DS fit in it?
The Nintendo DS might just fit. It would be a very tight fit, though.
Will it fit a Nokia Mural 6750?
If the phone is smaller than the dimensions we list at the top of the page in the "Features and Specs" section, yes!
Are you guys going to make a video
Sorry, but we do not have plans to make a Socket Pocket video.
What if my phone has a top plug in port???
You could simply put your phone in the holder upside down, though I honestly haven't seen many phones with the plug near the top, since that is usually where the speaker for the ear piece is located.
I have the Samsung Galaxy and it is gigantic! Can it fit in there??
The Samsung Galaxy is 4.5in wide, which is larger than what the Socket Pocket can hold (3.5in).
what difference does the socket type make?!?!?! oh, is it part of the socket cover? I'm SOOOOO sorry. I has anger management issues.:S
Standard sockets are most often found in bedrooms, living rooms, etc. GFCI outlets are often found in bathrooms and kitchens.
Is there a Eurpean version of this product?
Sorry, but we do not carry European models.
i live in Canada witch would fit my outfit? would a galaxy nexus fit in there? its bigger than an iphone
It would fit your outlet but not your phone.
can you paint the outlet faceplate and the pocket?
If you would like the paint the Socket Pocket, the manufacturer recommends you start with a good oil-based spray-on primer, and then apply two topcoats of oil-based enamel spray paint. If you do not use a primer, you may have a hard time with certain paints adhering to the pocket itself.
It's 2014,so would a 6 inch screen phone fit?
We do provide the dimensions of the pocket at the top of the page. To give you an idea of size, the pocket itself is half an inch wider than a Samsung Galaxy S4.
Will it work with Australian sockets?
Presumably, but only if the socket is the correct shape. If not then you might want to consider a different item.
does it fit the ipod touch 4 and does it come with a wall adapter because my is a ipod touch 4 and it only can fit or charge in a pc (computer) or a laptop
I think you might be misunderstanding the product. This is a socket wall plate that has a pocket attached to it. You can use any device you like in it that will physically fit in the pocket.
i have a phone with a plug in on the side in a weird way will it work with that
The Socket Pocket can accommodate side-charging devices.
is it paintable?
Yes, the manufacturer recommends you start with a good oil-based spray-on primer, and then apply two coats of oil-based enamel spray paint. If you do not use a primer, you'll likely have a hard time with paint adhering to the pocket itself.

Please excuse the shameless cross promotions!
