Office Artillery at its Finest!

USB Missle Launcher delivers pure office terror.

Strike fear in the hearts of your co-workers with this military-grade office artillery weapon. This black and green USB Missile Launcher works in exactly the same way as our USB Cannon. Simply use the arrow keys and space bar on your computer to aim and fire at all who trespass against thee.

Foam MisslesSoldier, these are your missiles. There are many like them, but these ones are yours. They are your best friend, your life. You must master it as you must master your life.

Without you, your missiles are useless. Without your missiles, you are useless. You must fire your USB Missile Launcher true. You must shoot straighter than your enemy, who may be trying to lure you into an intra-departmental meeting. You must shoot him before they bore you to death. And yes, we like the movie Full Metal Jacket.

Software now available for Macs!

For those of you with an Apple, USB firepower is now available! While the software isn't fully supported by the manufacturer, it will do the trick. For more information about Mac support and extending the awesome functionality of these devices on the Windows platform, check out our blog entry.

I have a burning question about this product!

Is there something you need to know about this product that we've omitted?

Send us an anonymous question and we promise to answer it within 1 business day. The answer will be displayed below.

A few customer questions we've answered

Q: Is this the same as ThinkGeek's USB rocket launcher? It seems like it is, but this one is $5 cheaper and only claims 180 degree rotation.
A: From what we can tell, this is the same launcher. After receiving your question, we grabbed the office missile launcher to verify the 360 degree claim, and it's true, it does rotate up to 360 degrees.

Q: does it work for macs?
A: Currently, the USB Missile Launcher is only compatible with PCs.

Q: Will it work on a PC running Linux?
A: The USB Missile Launcher software requires the Windows OS. If you were running some sort of Windows emulator, it may work. Of course, we haven't tried it, so we can't be sure.

Q: where can i buy spare missiles?
A: You can buy spare missiles directly from us! They're sold in packs of three.

Q: Can I get extra missiles in the event that the first volly isn't enough?
A: You sure can! We sell replacement sets of missiles in packs of three. Enjoy!

Q: can i use two of these on one computer?
A: Yes, you can use multiple USB Missile Launchers or multiple USB Cannons on one computer. They cannot be individually controlled, however. Actually, it's kind of cool to have several of them all in unison.

Q: is it sold anywhere were i can pysically buy it, because im not prepared to buy it over the internet
A: At this time, we're not aware of any brick and mortar locations that sell this item.

Q: Is there a program in development that allows the launcher to shoot at the first sight of movement? (webcam required)
A: We're not aware of such a program, but we wouldn't be surprised if a general search turned up something like that.

Q: Do they really detonate upon impact?
A: No, the missiles for the USB Missile Launcher do not detonate on impact. The explosions in the video are strictly for dramatic effect.

Q: Are these missile systems in any way a breach of the (START IV)Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty?
A: Yes, The USB Missile is in total violation. Get them now before they're confiscated by the government!

Q: I don't want people to know I have it till I shoot em, can it be mounted on the roof (ie is it too heavy, will the missiles fall off) ?
A: As long as the base of the USB Missile Launcher is secured, the missiles will probably stay on the launcher until you decide to release them.

Q: Is there any convinient way to mount a small USB camera to it for greater accuracy?
A: We haven't put our USB Missile Launcher through anything like that, so we're not sure if it would increase accuracy. If mounting the camera is your main concern, though, you might have good luck with either duct tape or those Velcro tabs with sticky stuff on the back.

Q: Can you please take a vid of this in action?? And will it be able to fit ink re-fills (for fountain pens) to fire out of it.
A: You can view video footage of the USB Missile Launcher by clicking the "Watch Video Clip" button at the top of the page. We do not recommend firing fountain pen ink refills from your USB Missile Launcher, although we're quite certain that a determined prankster could figure out a way to make that work.

Q: Will this weapon make me impervious to attacks from left-wing militants?
A: While the USB Missile Launcher is fully equipped to decimate your most evil opponents, we can't be responsible for what happens if you don't wield your power with care and skill. A tool is only as good as the hands that guide it.

Q: Is there any way of making it more powerful and attaching sharp metallic objects upon the projectiles? It's my kids sixth birthday see.
A: Wow, we're not quite sure how to respond to that USB Missile Launcher question. We don't suggest making them missiles any more powerful. If you've seen our video, you'd already realize that the stock missiles are exploding missiles.

Q: Is there somewhere to download the software for it for windows XP?!??!
A: The USB Missile Launcher comes with software that will work with Windows XP. We do not have the software available for download.

Q: Can i use this tool to blow up my mother-in-law
A: Yes, you'll just need to purchase the exploding missile upgrade package. Unfortunately, we're all sold out of those right now.

Q: Will it work with Vista?
A: According to the manufacturer, the included software was not designed to work with Windows Vista, but many people have had success using their USB Missile Launchers with Vista. We're also aware of several free, independently designed software programs for use with the USB Missile Launcher (to enable it to work with different operating systems), but we don't provide support or referrals for those programs.

Q: Can i download a stand alone launcher program that i can run from my thumb drive at work? Because the permissions on the work system do not allow me to install the driver!
A: You can definitely find alternate software for the USB Missile Launcher, but we can't really speak for the capabilities or reliability of those programs.

Q: Do you have to load software or is it plug-and-destroy-with-ruthless-efficiency? (Can't load anything at work. IT is so getting hit first.)
A: Yes, you'll need either the software that is provided with the USB Missile Launcher, or one of several free, independently-created softwares that you can locate by doing a quick search on the internet.

Q: How exactly does it work? Is it spring powered or what? And are there any methods for decreasing the reload time and increasing the power?
A: We're pretty sure it works through some sort of crazy, spring-loaded magic. As far as the reload time and power are concerned, you might consider doing some internet research into the very active community of people who modify their USB Missile Launchers.

Q: Is there any way to make the rounds more explosive? Or add other features like shrapnel or radioactive monkeys?
A: Absolutely. The sky is the limit when it comes to spicing up your USB Missile Launcher. And if you find a good source for radioactive monkeys, let us know!

Q: If I hit my co-worker and permanently blind him, would I then be in violation of the Geneva Convention? Or does that only apply to laser-based weaponry?
A: Yes and yes. Tricky, aren't we?

Q: Can you provide the dimensions of this product? i'm wodering how big it is.
A: Size: Barrel is 6.5" long (w/o missiles); Base has 3.5" diameter and is about 2.5" tall.

Q: is there a way to run it without windows?
A: Yes. Check out our blog post on using the USB Missile Launcher in new ways and with non-Windows computers (a link is now in the product description above).

Q: Does the cannon make any noise?
A: The included software for the PC has a number of sound effects (which can be muted). The unit itself makes some mechanical noise when it turns and when it fires.

Q: the books on the table?
A: Actually, the books on the table (in the USB Missile Launcher video) aren't books at all. They're copies of two Vat19 DVDs: Ambient Water, a video aquarium; and Ambient Fire, a video fireplace.

Q: Can I continue to aim the missile launcher during the delay before firing? Also, how far can the missiles fly?
A: No. During the brief delay period, the USB Missile Launcher makes its "warming up" sounds and remains fixed in its position. The missiles fly 10-15 feet.

Q: Can I install the unit in my bosses office and fire it remotely when he deserves it? We are in two differnt cities.
A: If you were able to hide the USB Missile Launcher somewhere in his office and yet still in firing range, you'd have a chance. You'd just have to install one of those remote access programs on his computer and then access it when you're ready to fire. That's a lot of "ifs", though, and none of it assumes that he'll let you keep your job when he finds out what you're up to. We don't recommend it.

Q: Will these projectiles poke out my eye?
A: It is extremely unlikely that the USB Missile Launcher's missiles will poke out your eye.

Q: Will this mini nuke cause radiation poisoning or even mutations of my enemy's (perhaps making them stronger then before?) Or will they just look at me oddly?
A: We think you'll be fine. We've used USB Missile Launchers extensively here, and we're all normal (mostly).

Q: Do these have the ability to arm biological or nuclear warheads?
A: No. That's an upgrade. Unfortunately, we are currently licensed as an after-market USB Missile Launcher dealer...yet.

Q: How awesome is this? Also, does it hurt when you get hit?
A: Really awesome. And yes, the pain of the foam missile is nearly unbearable.

Q: Can this weapon of mass destruction be used with bluetooth instead of connecting it directly to a PC using a cable?
A: The current edition of the USB Missile Launcher is not Bluetooth compatible. We're not sure if such a model will exist in the future.

Q: How many missiles would it take to take down the gorilla that appears in your videos, and can you add something like this to the video?
A: It would take an awful lot of missiles to take out Percy, the beloved Vat19 gorilla. Because we're quite fond of Percy, we don't anticipate subjecting him to that sort of abuse any time soon.

Q: Can you create acid tipped missiles so it burns the person when they get hit?
A: We suppose you could, but we don't recommend it. It would probably damage your missiles.

Q: can you use it on windows vista
A: Yes. The manufacturer has indicated that the USB Missile Launcher is compatible with Windows Vista and our tests here have been successful, too.

Q: If you were to atach needles to the end of the missles would it make the missles to heavy to shoot?
A: Most needles probably wouldn't, but we certainly hope you're not shooting needle-pointed missiles at people or animals.

Q: Say I have A Laptop.. And I happen to go to a Africa.. Would i be able to stealthfully bring Down an Elaphant? Note: I would be using the Replacement missle Pack for the added boost..
A: We cannot advocate elephant violence. Those poor elephants didn't do anything to you. The USB Missile Launcher is *perfect* for taking out obnoxious co-workers, though.

Q: When Will You have more exploding missles in? and will i be able to get a special deal on them if i buy more then 3 at a time?
A: As the video demonstrates, all USB Missile Launcher missiles are exploding missiles. We have plenty in stock, but we regret that we can only offer special quantity discounts if your spare missile order numbers into the hundreds of packs.

Q: Could I mount This on top of my Car and and pretend im a tank?
A: As long as you have an accessible computer and USB port, we don't see why not.

Q: Is This Question Realy Anonymous? and if i was to install the softwere on my usb flash drive will it leave any files on that computer? I would like to remain as ninja-e as possible that would be bad
A: If you install the USB Missile Launcher software on a flash drive, there should not be any files on the computer. Godspeed, ninja.

Q: Is the missile launcher have a metal outer coating or is it plstic and is it wireless or it has to be connected with a USB cord into a computer to the launcher?
A: The USB Missile Launcher is plastic and requires a cord to be plugged into your USB port.

Q: How can you plug 10 launchers into a computer if it only has 2-4 places to plug them in??????
A: Most electronics stores carry USB hubs, which are basically the USB equivalent of power strips. By using a few USB hubs, you could significantly increase the number of available USB ports attached to your computer.

Q: can you change it? to a diffrent gun?
A: While Vat19 does not sell any different attachments, you might be able to muster up some geek skills and modify your USB Missile Launcher. Another option is to purchase the USB Circus Cannon, also available from Vat19.com.

Q: If i purchased 127 of these devices and daisy chained them together on my desktop into powered USB hubs, would I be able to generate enough firepower to take out a cubicle wall and escape?
A: Yes. 126 Missile Launchers would be a little iffy, but 127 should definitely do the trick.

Q: Can we attach the rockets onto a jet fighter in a war? Will you be liable for getting me killed?
A: Assuming you have the proper clearances, you could probably do that. We accept liability for nothing, though, including bad jokes.

Q: Is the rocket USB rocket launcher compatible with NERF darts?
A: Not that we're aware of, but there's probably no harm in trying.

Q: Do the misiles really explode and hurt people its beacause i am 9 years old
A: The foam missiles do not explode. Vat19 is not in the explosives business, but we are pretty savvy with special effects. The foam missiles shouldn't hurt. Well, unless you took a direct hit to the eye. Don't aim the USB Missile Launcher at anyone's face!

Q: how long does it take for the USB missle launcher to shoot once you press space?
A: The USB Missile Launcher typically takes a few seconds to prepare to fire and launch the missile.

Q: what if you are using the arrow keys for something else such as a game, will it still work the launcher?
A: No. You'll need to make sure that you're actually in the Missile Launcher window in order to fire missiles.

Q: where can i buy it?
A: You can get your USB Missile Launcher right here!
